Guest guest
I'm getting a weird effect from flaxseed oil / cottage cheese (FO/CC) mix. I had to undergo 6 months of chemo with 5FU, leucovorin, and oxaliplatin, and it has left me with peripheral neuropathy in my hands and feet. The neuropathy not only creates numbess in my extremities, but it also makes them puffy, and they don't produce any sweat, all of which I attribute to the lack of nerve impulses coming from them.] At any rate, the FO/CC seems to make all of these symptoms worse for a few hours. In addition, it seems to make me extremely lethargic for an hour or so, unless I actively fight it. Mike Golden did tell me awhile back that the mix was high in tryptophan, which could cause the lethargy. But I am wondering if the other symptoms are being caused by residual chemotherapy being stirred up in my system. A Gerson advocate I talked to awhile back said that most chemo drugs were oil soluable, and that Gerson himself had found that oil enemas and olive oil liver flushes could be dangerous for patients who had a ton of chemo drugs in them. (I don't have a ton, but maybe a bit).
Guest guest
Jim, it would be good for you to get a food allergy test. Personally, I was tested and am severely allergic to cottage cheese which explained the neuropathy and lethargy. I quickly switched to Protocel 50. That is just me. Guest guest
Have you tried the FO with yogurt? You must drain it first. Guest guest
is that the protocel mentioned as a " cancer treatment " , like cantron ----- Original Message ----- From: Johanne Jim, it would be good for you to get a food allergy test. Guest guest
It is like Cantron. It started with the same company but it broke into two. Cantron Protocel (Protocel 25 and Protocel 50) I took Protocel 50 because it was advised for brain tumors. It worked very well. Now the Wolfe clinic (where I bought mine) says that only Cantron works that most people that have taken Protocel since 2000 have not had success but I took mine in 2003-2005 and was successful (no more brain tumor). They claim that it has to do with the energy in the supplement that has been altered. Anyway, for me, it was a tough 17-year fight. I am glad this part is behind me. I am well aware that brain tumors love to return so I am VERY cautious with my foods and lifestyle.
