Guest guest
Hello, I'm a little new to this group. Looks like a lot of helpful information so I wanted to see if I could get any suggestions or ideas from folks. The cliffnotes of my story are: I was diagnosed with late stage colon cancer at age 29 in late 2006. The cancer has since been cut from the colon. It's been in my liver for a while but has recently spread to the lungs. I have been going through chemo and surgeries ever since. I'm looking for some sort of natural supplements or alternative sort of medicine to help aid me to remission. Does anyone have any info on protocols out there that might help or any successful testimonials that would help? I'm not giving up – I have 2 little kids to raise!!! Thanks..... Guest guest
My sister has pancreatic and it spread to her liver.. we found an amazing procedure from a doctor in Sarasota FL (covered by insurance).. it's cutting edge and only been around 2 years...he's the only one I've found that can get metastasized cancer out of the liver.... I'll find that website and post it on here... On Jun 29, 2010, at 1:56 AM, s_thoward wrote: > Hello, I'm a little new to this group. Guest guest
Hi Thanks, I have been into internet research for a year, because I found myself in a dire need of as fixing my little me. This research has been intense and I have spent most of my free time, probably close to 8 hours a day on it, trying to sort out the piles of more often than not contradictory and even down right poor information. Meanwhile I have tried all kinds of remedies on myself with a fair success, good enough to achieve fair improvement, but nothing really spectacular. The reason for this was not any lack of information, but a lack of information, which would cut to the bone of the health problems we all share, no matter what their manifestation. I am quite convinced, that I have finally come across this most basic info very recently, which should get out of the woods anyone with enough IQ and diligence. The beauty of this information is not only in the simplicity of the root of all these problems, after all, our bodies do not fight all kinds of ailments with all kinds of methods, like pharmaceutical industry does, but also in the dirt cheap way of not killing all the pathogens, or cancer cells, but giving your body what it sorely lacks to fight it off on its own and keeping it that way, despite the adversities of our nutrition and environment. Our bodies are very sturdy proposition as long as it gets what it need, which is not what we get, due to the current situation of the world being run by commercial greed. Here you have two links, to give you the nuts and bolts of the way to understand what and how. Concerning one Dr. Guy, I have even figured out the way he put his supplements together some 80 years ago, with which he, as well as many other doctors of the time performed their unselfish mission of actually curing people, before the whole line of clinical research had been buried by whoever. You have two kids you say, and if nothing else, you may at least do a good job in bringing them up well, and hopefully open their eyes to our realities, before the system takes over and brainwashes them to oblivius sick state most of us find themselves in. This one should be read first in order to understand the significance of the other, as long as it is. http://www.townsendletter.com/Dec2006/ThreeYearsofHClTherapy.pdf This being the second, but reading both is the way to grasp it, no matter in which order. http://www.communicationagents.com/sepp/2004/05/03/potassium_deficiency_widespre\ ad_and_often_neglected.htm I wish you all good luck in educating yourself and helping each other. With kind regards, Slavek. P.S. If anyone offers you a supplement in any other form but a chloride, think hundred times before dishing out any money for it. From: s_thoward@... Guest guest
If I were you and really wanted to be around to raise my kids ... I'd find the money to go see Gammill just north of San Diego, CA. He's a member of this list and fighting cancer himself and one of the more affordable centers. He knows the ins and outs of almost every therapy - conventional and alternative. All cancer treatments " cut both ways " and can do harm as well as cure. Some treatments will cancel out another so you must be careful what you mix. Center for the Study of Natural Oncology, Inc. http://www.natural-oncology.org/about.htm I took my aunt there plus we did some other things - she had a very rare and fast growing muscle cancer in her arm. She eventually did have surgery and the tumor was completely removed and she has been cancer free since then. In my many conversations with him, I know he really delights in helping those with a passion to continue their lives. Here's my interview with November 2007 - When Cancer Strikes who ya gonna call? http://tinyurl.com/2n9a3m December 2007 - When Cancer Strikes who ya gonna call? Part 2 http://tinyurl.com/5ae694 " It was our dream, since we were particularly adept at turning around late-stage patients, to create a setting where people could go to learn strategies to prolong their lives instead of to prepare for death. We had found if we prescreened and only took those patients who do not yet have severe complications such as multiple organ failure – we found these were our favorite patients because we would save around 25% of them. They could be put into a sustainable remission without any great effort. With a great effort as many as 50% of them could be turned around. With any kind of luck it could go higher than that. If you take patients who are acutely ill and who should be in a hospital then your rates go way down. Guest guest
I have breast cancer and belong to the group that discusses the Budwig Diet. I would highly suggest you join that group, and then go to their " Files " section and click on Folder #6 (I believe) to see lots of testimonials, all listed in alphabetical order as to type of cancer. You will see some colon cancer testimonials there. Here is the group name to join: FlaxSeedOil2 No matter what therapy you choose, conventional, alternative, etc. doing the Budwig diet at the same time would be an EXCELLENT idea!. Guest guest
I definitely agree about contacting ... he is less biased than other alternative clinics in that he is not selling just one type of treatment. He researches all the options and supplements and recommends the " best of the best " for your particular situation. Also, I would seriously get your vitamin D levels checked and start supplementing D3, most likely more than recommended by the FDA. Vitamin D deficiency is closely tied to Colon cancer, and the higher your levels, the greater your chance of survival. Until you know your level, you cannot safely supplement to address your deficiency. If your doctor won't test, then you can participate in the grassrootshealth study and they will send you a test in the mail. http://grassrootshealth.net/ - has some great presentations / videos on Vitamin D and Cancer... check the one at the bottom of the main page.
