Guest guest
Thanks for the update ! I must say I really am not surprised. I have found very little of Nature's Sunshine's products are usable on Bee's plan with what they add to their products. Their chlorophyll although good is VERY spendy, as a matter of fact, their products all seem to be overpriced. Any idea what could be causing this? +++Hi. What is your name please? First, does your daughter have candida? There are many things that can cause digestive problems, with the most important being eating sugar, high carbs and not getting proper nutrients, and eliminating toxins, particularly in foods in drinks. Unless that is corrected HCl won't help. Start with a proper diet plus cod liver oil and other supplements recommended for children, and do things recommended in my main candida article for Improving Digestion, other than taking HCl. See this article for children: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/baby.php Here's the section on digestion in my article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php#s27 After you've read those articles please get back to me if you have questions. Guest guest
Hi Gloria, HCL is hydrochloric acid. Bee recommends that we take Bentaine HCL with meals to help with digestion. You can eat sauerkraut in its place, if you want to. The sauerkraut also helps with digestion. Here's an article about supplements in case you missed it: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/supp1.php ....and here's one specifically about how to take the HCL: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig5.php > > Hi, >  > Sorry, but what is HCL? I see people talking about it and wonder if I need it, too. Could someone help me out? >  > Thank you, Gloria > > > > >

Guest guest
> > hi bee, thank you so much for all your informative and supportive > emails. sooo grateful. +++Hi Janet. You are so very welcome! > 2 questions for you: > 1) how much unpasteurized sauerkraut should we eat per day if we're > using this as a probiotic? +++You can eat 1/4 to 1/2 cup sauerkraut with every meal. > 2) any explanation as to why i consistently get terrible headaches > after drinking the electrolyte water? +++The Electrolyte drink helps detoxification, particularly the liver and lymphatic system, so it mobilizes toxins more, which are mostly candida toxins. Candida produces over 79 different kinds of toxins, but most turn into alcohol inside the body, so your headache is just like having a very bad hangover. In order to decrease such headaches, start with less of the drink, and only gradually increase it. Also ensure you start on unrefined coconut oil (antifungal) at small amounts and gradually increase it to minimize die-off symptoms. However, we cannot avoid all die-off symptoms since they are how the body heals itself. > thanks so much. as soon as i become employed, i will send money your way!! +++Thanks for thinking of me my dear. I'm happy to see you on my Group. Welcome my friend! > I had a question was a rather big one and quite unique I think. It > involves Hcl. I would like to explain. From the day I started to improve my health I have not been able to take Hcl supplements. I have asked a whole host of people and never have they ever been able to have a answer for my problem. Currently as explained I take a broad digestive supplement which has the enzymes, hcl and pepsin. > > I have tried the Hcl (on its own) before in the past and tried it > again on its own yesterday and today. The response I get is unusual but at the same time usual as I had had it lots of times before, I become very tierd all of a sudden and become a little dizzy. The only way to compare this is when I am short of breathe. Which leads me to think the only explaination is that when putting in the Hcl my stomach reacts and becomes maybe inflamed or swollen. Leaving me less able to breathe to my normal capacity. I know this sounds strange but it feels the only answer. <snip> +++Your reaction to HCl is due to healing reactions, so do not be concerned about them. Shortness of breath, and other symptoms are very common to have, and HCl also kills off bacteria and candida in the stomach, which causes die-off/healing reactions, and the release of toxins causes heart palpitations, and many other reactions throughout the body. If your stomach was truly inflammed and swollen you'd be vomiting, yet that too is a healing reaction since it is a way for the body to get rid of toxins. To understand healing naturally, die-off symptoms and healing reactions read some of these articles: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal2.php http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu1_2.php I hope you get onto this program soon, if not already. Guest guest
I saw Bee already responded to this, but I just wanted to add that you can use unpasteurized sauerkraut with meals (half a cup) instead of HCL. It also aids digestion. This is what I do, and I've had great success with it - I healed my acid reflux (GERD) - and it's generally cheaper than HCL tablets. My brother was taking HCL for a while but he had to take so many, that he switched to the sauerkraut as well. You are going to experience many different kinds of symptoms as you work on your health. I don't believe the HCl would directly cause any throat symptoms, since it is in a capsule and doesn't release until it is in the stomach. Your throat symptoms are either die-off symptoms, or " retracing " of previous similar symptoms with your throat, per Hering's Law of Cures (on my website). Hang in there Chris. Natural healing is not a steady uphill climb towards health, where you feel better and better every day. It has its many ups and downs due to what the body must go through to get rid of toxins, to build itself up again, and because it must " retrace " all previous symptoms, illnesses, diseases, injuries, intake of toxins, etc. during the healing process. It is obvious you haven't read How to Successfully Overcome Candida since you do not know what HCl is - see this section " Improve Digestion " : http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php#s27 That article is the very basis of this program, so be sure you read it very carefully to understand everything you need to do and why. I have not had an ulcer diagnosis but do wonder about it. What is the down side to taking HCL if I had an ulcer? Is there any danger? i did the baking soda test this morning to see whether I'm under or over producing. I didn't burp at all. (should baking soda fizz when I add water? Mine didn't ) I have been given a Rx for Losec which will decrease stomach acid and I don't want to take it but the doctor wants to know if 2 weeks on these meds resolve anything before he'll investigate further. Most candida sufferers have low stomach acid, and the symptoms for low stomach acid are exactly the same as for high stomach acid, so that's where the confusion can occur. > > What is the down side to taking HCL if I had an ulcer? Is there any danger? +++No, there is no danger in taking HCl since it is what your stomach produces. If you happen to get a burning sensation, like heartburn, take 1/4 tsp. of baking soda in 4-5 ounces of water, and only sip it long enough to stop the burning feeling - it won't hurt you. > i did the baking soda test this morning to see whether I'm under or over producing. I didn't burp at all. (should baking soda > fizz when I add water? Mine didn't ) +++Where do you read about the baking soda test, since it is not recommended any more - we found it was not accurate at all. > I have been given a Rx for Losec which will decrease stomach acid and I don't want to take it but the doctor wants to know if 2 weeks on these meds resolve anything before he'll investigate further. GROAN! +++Doctors perscribe exactly the opposite of what your body needs, so please do not take Losec. Doctors assume your stomach symptoms are caused by high stomach acid, which isn't at all true, since it is caused by low stomach acid. If you take Losec it cuts off production of stomach acid, which causes many digestive problems, and you will have great difficulty getting off it. The reason it is hard to stop taking is because the stomach revolts after you stop them, producing very high stomach acid. That's why doctors say you must take them for life. +++When there is enough HCl in the stomach it keeps the valve to the esophagus closed properly. When there is too little stomach acid that valve won't stay closed, so you get heartburn or acid reflux from the tiny amount of HCl that is in the stomach, which burns the esophagus. The esophagus isn't protected from the effects of stomach acid like the stomach is. +++If you are wary about taking HCl, eat 1/4 to 1/2 cup of sauerkraut with every meal to help digestion. The miracle of sauerkraut is that it automatically lowers HCl if it is too high, and it raises it if it is too low. Many people I know have been able to stop take Losec and similar drugs by eating sauerkraut with meals and eating 1-2 tbls. every time their stomach hurt - it takes about 3 weeks for the stomach to settle down and stop overproducing acid. I stopped taking it because just one capsule made me have a strange sensation that something was caught in my throat. Do you know why this would happen? +++Hi B. It shouldn't cause a problem if you drink plenty of water when taking HCl or any supplements. You wouldn't " not take it " it causes a sensation. > I have bad heartburn all of the time and would like to get rid of it, saurkraut helps but not enough. I am taking all of the other supplements and am up to 6 T. of CO. with manageable die-off symptoms of fatigue, nausea, and the heartburn (which I had for years before starting this). Since you've had heartburn for years, your body will " retrace " each and every episode as it heals - see Hering's Law of Cure on my website. So those symptoms will still come and go even if you are doing everything you can to improve your digestion. Up until what point after eating is it pointless to take HCL? +++Amy, you can still take HCl up to 2 hours after eating if you forget(maybe even longer since foods is in the stomach for 3-4 hours). > > Does HCL give you energy (or am I just getting better?!)? +++There are many things on this program that improve the breakdown of nutrients from foods and supplements which provide energy, including HCl, so I think you are just getting better. I am not sure this dose is healthy or economical, so I just wanted to confirm. +++Hi Amy. It is okay to take up to 10 HCl capsules with each and every meal. HCl also helps get rid of toxins, so it provides additional benefits. Eventually you will be able to lower your doses, as your digestion improves. When you digestion is normal again you won't have to take any HCl, except when you are stressed (like I do). All the best, Bee
