It is polyphenol. It is in red wine skins, grape seeds, pine bark/needles,

and tea. It has 50 times the antioxidant capability of Vitamin E. It is

extracted and available many places as grape seed extract or as pycnogenol.

Pycnogenol is a trade name given to a process invented by a French scientist

and costs 7 or 8 times as much as plain " grape seed " extract, but from what I

can find out they are equivalent. Grape seed extract is one of my primary

supplements.
