calendula flowers steeped in water to wash. Mine are not blooming yet and I am

not sure I have any dried I could send. Also maybe a olive oil beeswax lotion to

coat but I would dry bandage it if possible to let it breath and ooze

now I'm using apple cider vinegar in water, it doesn't burn, its diluted quite a

bit. But I wonder if there is something better that would help the skin heal,

like baking soda, sea salt, etc.

using a castor oil pack, I don't know what to put on it - should it just be dry

bandages? It's still seeping and I'm afraid of getting the bandage stuck to it

and having to pull it off, so I want to put some kind of ointment in there.

Provided the wound is not overly deep when I put on a diluted Oregano/Olive Oil

or Oregano/ Coconut Oil mix in a 10: 1 ratio the 1 being Oregano oil.

This is a natural antibiotic and at the same time it keeps the wound moist which

some say is what should be done. Oregano Oil (wild-Crafted or Essential Oils)

undiluted would burn. Other than that you can probably find a 'wound dressing'

that is harmless and which would provide the moisture needed. I personally

like the protection Oregano Oil seems to provide.

What is the best natural solution to use for cleaning an open wound? Right now

I would put hydrogen peroxide, or iodine drops (2% Lugo's) or aloe vera. I've

never heard of oil on an open wound. Someone correct me if I'm wrong (since I'm

doing that now with regards to my dog's open wounds).

I stopped using the castor oil now that it is so open and raw, seems like the

castor oil irritated it. I'm still waiting on my delivery of Lugol's iodine, it

appears to be coming from Ecuador? Didn't know that, lol, but it should be here

this week.

This is fascinating, I've never heard of this mixture but I actually have all of

it in my cabinet!
