Guest guest
I have not had a chance put together some sort of web presence to stay in touch with past program participants, but as a number on the list have done our program, I thought it would save everyone some time if I put up a general announcement. The non-profit has been operating so slowly lately that I am considering changing to a for-profit status within the next month or so. Until then I am reducing inventory by providing free supplements and meds to anyone who has ever done the program as long as the shipping address is within the US. When the needs include such meds as antineoplastons, the bisphosphonates, gallium salts, triptolide this can add up to as much as $10,000 per month at no cost other than shipping. The main factor that determines what is free is whether the product was paid for by me or by a donor. After program participants have been provided for their needs the rest of the warehouse will be sold off at market value. It had been my hope that the non-profit was set up more like a buyers' club and be able to access anything participant-members wanted at maybe 10% of the usual prices. This way if lightning ever struck me then the program could continue on without a hitch. The upcoming changes in the retreat program will be a disappointment for me as I had very much enjoyed the inclusion of people of modest means. I am open to suggestions from everyone. We still have the pristine 41 acre mountain reserve along the Cleveland National Forest between Riverside and San Diego County so we may want to shift operations there, even though I prefer the pacific coastal microclimate of Del Mar. It would be most convenient for clients to helicopter in from Palomar airport.
Guest guest
But , IF your non-profit is a 501©3 organization, you may be able to get contributions, things like grants from the Gates Foundation .... Plus your should be non-taxible ... Not the case if you're for-profit.. Guest guest
Dave, The Center is a 501©3, but the orientation is toward the natural and non-commercial. Organizations like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have very specific requirements that would screen out any recipient that can't meet the approval of their very conventional board. A few months ago I was approached by a donor who asked me to write up an executive summary -- he might be able to put in as much as $30,000,000. I wrote up a basic plan for the development of a " rescue " hospice at the mountain sanctuary. My schedule was such that I had no time to find architects and contractors for designs and bids. I put out a notice that I would pay a grant writer to work it up. Lots of people were interested but not interested enough to do it. No one even asked what I would pay. Long ago learned that if things just aren't snapping into place, let go. The best way for outside funding is to find a major donor who understands what we are doing and will then sit on the board. I might have extra time this weekend. If so I will post on a few very effective and safe cancer treatments/cures that are being ignored and forgotten. Some of these methods are provided in the retreat program. Others require a bit of lab work. Guest guest
Eh, , this just breaks my heart! Undoubdtedly, it doesn't mak you happy, either. I am not a person of modest means, or I would have considered your retreat program. I am, in fact, a person of almost no means, whatsoever, and am living on the opposite coast. *g* I must tell you that your input on several of the lists I participate in, and the sharing of your advice from your clients on those lists that you don't participate in, have been sources of invaluable information. I can't even count the number of people I've had contact with who have consulted with you, in one way or another! I hope and pray that whatever form your organization takes will continue to make your wisdom, experience and skills available to many more people. For what it's worth, you have one supporter (however intangible) in me!
