My mom has stage 4 lung cancer and her recent scan showed multiple new

liver spreads. Desperate now! What can i do to help her? Already

started her on LDN but she is still on a gradually increasing dosage.

How?

Hui Ping,

You have not provided enough information to give specific

suggestions, e.g., mediastinal nodes? pleural effusion? lobes of lung

and live affected? type and grade of lung cancer? past and current

treatments? age and general health? co-morbid conditions? use of or

need for analgesics? cultural preferences

(conventional/natural)? Has she been informed of the gravity of her

situation? Can she accommodate dietary changes?

LDN is not likely to be of much use with aggressive cancers with

distant, multifocal metastases. Your mother might try rodent

tuber. This can be found in Singapore in some of the Malaysian

vegetable markets. The kind you want is Typhonium flagelliforme

(which has a whitish tuber) and NOT Typhonium trilobatum (which is

used in Chinese medicine and has a dark brown tuber).

She should juice about 50 grams from one to three times per

day. Juice all parts of the fresh plant. It should be used with

plenty of water and it is less irritating if used with food. Stools

tend to turn dark and a foul flatus is expelled.

There are many other natural treatments with a strong track record

and are locally available for you, but I would start with this.
