Hello Bret,

A virus is not an anaerobe. A virus does not have an energy production

capacity. It uses receptor sites to enter cells. It then uses the

cell's energy production mechanisms for replication. It has no

capacity for respiration, anaerobically or aerobically. It is basically

a piece of information and is not alive. Oxygen is not particularly

toxic to virus. In fact, hyperbaric oxygen is used to stimulate the

production of polio virus and coxsackie virus. A lot of the

information floating around the internet concerning virus, cancer

cells and oxygen is incorrect.
