Hello Bret,

There are at least three things here that can cause blood clots. The

first is cancer itself through increased levels of fibrinogen in the

blood. The second is chemotherapy. And the third, as you say, is

hormonal therapy, depending on what hormone she is taking. This

triad is dangerous.
