I've experienced same but feel it's a candida symptom, not die-off.

Stick to a very strict diet and be sure to exercise a minimum of an

hour a day. You would greatly benefit from a cleanse, too. I did

the psyllium, apple juice, etc., cleanse for ten days, and it worked

miraculously. Also, follow with a liver and kidney cleanse. Your

symptoms will stop if you cleanse and stick to a strict diet. It

takes LOTS of self discipline.

but I am waiting for more tests before I begin chelation. I recently

tried ½ tbs of coconut oil, along with a colon cleanse. On the third

day, I developed numbness and tingling in my hands and feet. Does

anyone know if this can be die-off? I have discontinued both, and my

symptoms are still there.

Sorry I was not finished when I hit the wrong button on my key board.

I am on GABAPENTIN for numbness in hands and feet, which is generic for

NEURONTIN. This does help the numbness which is caused by high sugar, I am

diabetic.

My mom has stage 4 lung cancer and has been complaining of numbness

in her hands and feet. Her doctor said that it is because of the

chemotherapy she had earlier on, which consists of cisplatin and

gemcitabine, although that is more than 2 months ago. Anyone has any

suggestion on how we can improve her symptoms? Her doctor only gave her Vitamin

B complex...Thanks :) HP

I would try bromelain.May not be a cure but it helps as it has anti inflammatory

and anti coagulant effects.I do not know which medicines your mother takes and

her health history so please check for interactions with other drugs and

consider her health history. It has to be taken on empty stomach to see full

benefit of anti coagulant and anti inflammatory effects.

It is said that b12 and b6 deficiencies may also cause peripheral neuropathy.

something to consider.

" These are less common Cisplatin side effects (occurring in 10-29%) for patients

receiving Cisplatin:

a.. Peripheral neuropathy: Although less common, a serious side effect of

decreased sensation and paresthesia (numbness and tingling of the extremities)

may be noted. Sensory loss, numbness and tingling, and difficulty in walking may

last for at least as long as therapy is continued. These side effects may become

progressively more severe with continued treatment, and your doctor may decide

to decrease your dose. Neurologic effects may be irreversible. "
