Guest guest
I took a very expensive course on writing ads, and the style is the one they teach. These people paid a lot of money to learn this, and it is a very successful format with most readers. After taking the course, I agree with you --- I am sick of reading it, and I believe most of what is written is hype just to sell a product, but with the average American, it works. Hundreds of people, writing exactly the same format. What brasses me off is that many seem to be written by the same newsletter company - the writing style is similar in over half a dozen that I've seen over the last 4 years. And it would be so great if they'd get to the point in one or two paragraphs rather than taking 30 (or sometimes more) to get to the guts of the matter. So monotonous that i cancel my subscription quickly. Does anyone receive one that isn't written in that style?? Ritz
