Guest guest
There are those who refuse to believe that energy work is a viable method for healing but I disagree with that as do many others. I believe many of our ills are caused from unresolved emotions, stress and anger of which there are few alternative methods with which to deal with them. However, EFT is one of the few and is most effective. After I had a stroke I realized I had emotional issues that needed dealt with but refused to go to a Psychologist who would do nothing more than put me on psychotropic drugs and that was unacceptable to me. I was also suffering from severe anxiety attacks to the point of fearing death. I got on the internet and started researching and found EFT. At first I said this is just too easy and cheap [you could learn the method free on their website]. I had nothing to lose so I started practicing every day. I am now in control of my anxiety attacks and my emotional problems are a work in progress. Helping veterans with PTSD is where EFT really shines. I received an email today about this very subject... EFT in the US Congress: There are two houses in the US Congress, the House of Representatives and the Senate. Each has specialized committees, and we've found several congressmen to support EFT. Last year, the Chairperson of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Carl Levin (D-MI), wrote to a member of President Obama's cabinet, the Secretary of State for Veterans Affairs, Shinseki, enclosing one of our studies of PTSD (posttraumatic stress disorder) and recommending a close look at EFT. Earlier this month, three Representatives also wrote to Shinseki, as well as the heads of mental health for the armed services, advocating concrete steps for adopting EFT. On July 21st at 10 am EST, Dawson Church has been invited to testify on EFT before the House Veterans Affairs Committee. We ask that your thoughts and prayers be with him. Intentions are powerful, and if the hundreds of thousands of EFT supporters all over the world collectively intend for a breakthrough that day, it can happen! You will be able to see the session here: http://veterans.house.gov/hearings/hearing.aspx?NewsID=605 Let us hold positive thoughts for our Veterans and that EFT will become the standard treatment for PTSD. Guest guest
I'm a big fan of EFT. I don't believe it's possible to cure a disease without removing the emotional factors and there's almost always a connection (except perhaps in cases of toxic exposure). I've found it really helpful for food cravings and especially when a person has to make changes due to cancer, it's important to not be dealing with feelings of deprivation or even worse those horrible cravings that are worse than cigarette cravings! For anyone not familiar with EFT you can download a free book on this site: http://tinyurl.com/tappingsolution I have the movie and book. All good stuff and in my opinion a very necessary part of any therapy, cancer or otherwise. EFT is easy to learn and use on yourself and doesn't typically require a therapist although that may be helpful when dealing with severe trauma. Guest guest
Awesome! I got a whole set of EFT DVDs some time ago and have not made the time to sit down and watch and learn. Thanks for reminding me of this technique...... > > There are those who refuse to believe that energy work is a viable method for healing but I disagree with that as do many others. > > I believe many of our ills are caused from unresolved emotions, stress and anger of which there are few alternative methods with which to deal with them.
