Guest guest
Hi - What an honest and sincere posting, thanks for sharing it with us. Please remember that we all make mistakes, we are not perfect beings, we fall short and do fail, BUT Christ won the real battle for you (as you already know) and nothing is better than that! Even health nuts get cancer, so please don't be so overly eager to blame yourself. Christ forgives you, therefore you can forgive yourself. Accept yourself for who you are, your kindness to others is something that reflects how good a person you truly are. God loves you, cares about you more than you will ever know AND he forgives you. Place your energy, prayer time, and efforts on getting well and may the Lord bless you abundantly in all ways with healing/health and his uncontainable joy. Guest guest
We all have made bad choices in our lives - whether in lifestyle, or family stuff, or relationships, etc. All you can do is keep moving forward. Correct what mistakes you made and keep looking ahead. You did not make yourself sick, btw. Your choices only go so far. There is more involved with cancer than your choices. There are exposures and the process the body goes through in order to eliminate bad cells. And, really healthy people get cancer, too. I'm one of them. I made every correct lifestyle choice, but still developed cancer. So, let go of the guilt and move forward. ar > > how can i forgive myself for giving making myself sick...for choosing to have bad lifestyle habits in my life. Guest guest
The human body is a remarkable organism, it can heal itself. However you have to start with your mind and let it go. Why don't you start with forgiving yourself and make some life style changes. Next do some detoxing and fill your body with supplements that will make you strong again. don't forget to love yourself and others. Guest guest
My ex-wife's aunt developed breast cancer--and was sure it was punishment from God because she only could watch her grandchildren two days a week instead of three! The idea that one causes one's cancer--or any other disease--comes from ancient cultures that weren't aware of bacteria, viruses, genetics--and weren't exposed to the contstant bombardment of chemicals and radiation of the modern world. The New Agers have resurrected this idea--implying that everything that happens in life is under one's control. It's bullshit! It just leads to one long guilt trip! The last thing one needs when fighting cancer is to be distracted by guilt. It's not your fault; put that aside and devote all the resources of your mind, body and spirit to beating this disease. Guest guest
I read (and with so much reading I forget where) that people who consistently put others before themselves are more likely to develop cancer. Bottom line is that our ability to help others is hampered if we do not love, respect, and show kindness to ourselves. You matter. Sanctify yourself and the rest will follow. Guest guest
In your situation it sounds like you would greatly benefit from using EFT which is short for Emotional Freedom Technique or Tapping. It uses meridian points and affirmations to change deep-seated patterns of thinking. It works for guilt, phobia, food cravings, PTSD and much more. You can download a free book on this site: http://tinyurl.com/tappingsolution If you're a Christian you don't have the right to put yourself in God's place as judge. Being Christian means you HAVE to forgive yourself since that's what Christ died for. That doesn't mean that you have the right to willfully do wrong but Jesus said that we must love others as OUR SELF. You are morally obligated to love yourself if you are a Christian and also to accept God's gift. I'm 100% certain the EFT will help you! You can turn some of my little sermon into affirmations to work with or just hire a practitioner if you can't figure it out on your own. Some of them will work with you on the phone. I'm sure you won't need more than a one hour session. This should be an easy belief to get over (believe it or not!). EFT may look weird but it's safe for Christians and is not using outside energy or entities.
