Guest guest
From doing the liver cleanse. Sometimes it strikes me that even in the altenative camp, we have got into all this labelling of illnesses, (syndrome X) being one that comes to mind. If we were eating as nature intended, which I would guess means no junk food, no pasteurised milk products, meat that is grass fed, you get the drift, foods full of natural enzymes not killed through cooking, then we would not be still taking an orthodox view of illness. By this I mean someone has pain in their liver, so we say oh take milk thistle, which is a brilliant herb, and may well do you a lot of good. But whats caused the pain in the liver, we need to look at the body as a whole. Many people have swapped the same orthodox Doctor mind set and put in onto the alternate mode mindset. Still not really making that fundamental grass roots change. I wonder how many people will be able to make the necessary life style changes, not easy I know, such as including more live foods in their diets. The more I read about consuming uncooked foods, the more I feel it makes sense. Without enzymes our bodies cannot do the millions of tasks they need to do on a daily basis. I am not saying that I think or believe everyone should have a completely raw diet, but I know we need undamaged enzymes in large amounts everyday, and we don't get these from consuming cooked foods. I guess being able to get on a daily basis optimal levels of minerals/trace elements natural vitamins, enzymes and Essential fatty acids, we stand a better chance of regaining our health and remaining healthy. Oh dear how did we end up with these nasty gallstones and sluggish livers. A speedy return to health for all of you. Regards ANNE
