Guest guest
I've read/heard about people curing cancer with all kinds of different therapies. I've also read/heard about those same therapies miserably failing others. Does Gerson work? Who knows -- you would have to run double-blind experiments, which are impossible to do under humane circumstances. Regarding coffee enemas: You need to clean things out with a regular enema first. Fleet enemas are worthless. You need to use a regular enema bag, which holds a good two quarts, hung 3 feet or more above the point of administration. Use pure/purified water, a bit warmer than body temperature. If your body wants to immediately expel the water, add some Epsom salts to the mixture to relax your large intestine muscles. A tablespoon of epsom salts per quart works for me, but you may do better with more or less. See if you can retain at least a quart of water. However, most certainly do not damage your body, and do not try to force too much water in past the point of significant discomfort. (If you have had intestinal surgery, most certainly check with your doctor first about enemas!!!) Enemas take practice, and are not a lot of fun. You need to practice them many times before you figure out what works for you. While administering, some prefer to lie on their right side, some on their left side, some on their backs, arching their butts into the air a bit to create a " downward slope " . You may need to switch among these positions several times. You may need to massage your guts externally by hand. You will probably have to get some water in, then wait for a few minutes before you can get more in. Use a waterproof mat (perhaps a backpacker's air mattress to lay on, covered with towels. Keep lots of paper towels handy for cleanup. Once you've cleaned things out with a water enema, brew up 2 cups of coffee using 4 tablespoons of organic coffee. Use non-bleached coffee filters or use a machine that doesn't require a coffee filter. Then add cold water to bring the 2 cups of coffee to body temperature (or slightly above). Take this in, and if at all possible, hold it for 20 minutes. Guess what? This whold procedure will take at least an hour. Are you going to do it 4 times a day? Count on spending 4 hours every day doing enemas! Perhaps this is why Gerson hasn't caught on in a bigger way. It can be very inconvenient! P.S. I found that if I do a coffee enema too late in the day I cannot get to sleep at night. Not good. > > what about Gerson therapy ? anyone have experience with them? they > have a documentary movie out " The Beautiful Truth'.... Guest guest
I have some notes on this. However, most certainly do not damage your body, and do not try to force too much water in past the point of significant discomfort. (If you have had intestinal surgery, most certainly check with your doctor first about enemas!!!) thanks for the tip on epsom salts. Enemas take practice, and are not a lot of fun. You need to practice them many times before you figure out what works for you. While administering, some prefer to lie on their right side, some on their left side, some on their backs, arching their butts into the air a bit to create a " downward slope " . You may need to switch among these positions several times. You may need to massage your guts externally by hand. Keep lots of paper towels handy for cleanup. Once you've cleaned things out with a water enema, brew up 2 cups of coffee using 4 tablespoons of organic coffee. at the starting point one needs to start with 1 table spoon than increase as needed.4 tablespoons may be too much for some. Use non-bleached coffee filters or use a machine that doesn't require a coffee filter. Then add cold water to bring the 2 cups of coffee to body temperature (or slightly above). Take this in, and if at all possible, hold it for 20 minutes. 12-15 minutes is better. One should feel flush of the gall bladder around minutes 6-8.. that is what one wishes to achieve. this is emptying of toxins into bowel. If this is not achieved amount of coffee may be increased. Not good. if you feel pressure inside your bowels you need to empty it, gas causes coffee to reach upper levels of bowels at which coffee may be absorbed by the body and stimulate you. bw nil " VINCENT TOKATLIAN " <vttttt@...> wrote: what about Gerson therapy ? anyone have experience with them? they > have a documentary movie out " The Beautiful Truth'.... Guest guest
the Gerson Institute has a book for do-it-yourselfers. Google Gerson for more information.
