Kyolic, acidophilus, Evening primrose oil, biotin, a couple other things that slip my SPACEY mind at the moment. They seemd to keep it in check while I took it, but since I quit about 3 weeks ago, the yeast is backwith a vengence, worse than EVER!! Yeah, Ia m wondering the same thing.....if it develops an immmunity to the same old " Killers " and eventually is able to overcome it. I am re-starting the Petosky plan (and yeah, I'll get all my proper " ingredients " together), but I wonder if it's not time to investigate some new ideas, like the SF722 or whatever it's called, and FINALLY take tha Paragone that's been sitting my cupboard for a couple years. Guest guest
Thanks for asking this - it's something I've been confused about too. A lot of people tell me to take one supplement for three months, but on some sites I see recommendations for rotating supplements every so often. Does anyone have a definitive answer for this? Guest guest
I know from using several different alternative care people that , the body changes in what it needs. One time it may need cecium and next time it doesn't want it at all. Or something else will work better at that time. 3 different ones and other through the years with different alternative or naturpaths all say the same in that regards. Perhaps this is important from a legal sense. We were talking about supplements, and I mentioned how much I spend on them ( a lot) and she was sure, due to what I was spending, that I was wasting most of my money. She claimed that almost ALL supplements needed to be rotated -- 1/2 time on, 1/2 time off -- for them to be effective. This included such standards as vitamin C and alpha lipoic acid. She also added that I was probably damaging my liver by taking too many supplements. Well, now I am suspicious of whether this naturopath knows what she is talking about... Guest guest
Jim, I posted on the LDN board that you can also order Naltrexone online and make yourself the required 4.5mg dosage from the 50 mg tablet. if you have difficulty in finding a doctor. It is quite easy as I just ordered myself last week (to see how it comes, etc.) and my husband made a batch this week and has been taking the 4.5 mg everynight. It comes directly from the manufacturer Bristol Myers Squibb in France individually sealed for freshness. Detail are: contact@... http://www.edrugnet.com Making Low dose ( 4.5mg) method: http://goodshape.net/HomemadeLDN.html Costs about US$ 140 for 311 dosages which is about US$ 0.45cts a dosage. We think is a viable way of getting Naltrexone for those who have difficulty.
