Guest guest
Does smoking bother the gall bladder? I found out some really stressful news on Friday and started smoking after quitting for a year and a half. Ever since then I have had a dull pain in my gall bladder area. At least it was something ibuprofen could take care of and did not need a shot of morphine like last time. I am resolved to quit again after I see what smoking has done to my digestive tract just after a couple of days. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I was going to do the cleans but my doctor warned me that it would interfere wiyh the psychiatric meds I am taking for manic depression. Any thoughts on this? Thanks for you anticipated help, Janice
Guest guest
It could be the smoking, that's never good as I'm sure you already know :-) But it could also be stressful news, my GB and whole digestive system responds to stress, and not in a pleasant way :-) L. Guest guest
And to Dearest Gloria, I just bought a 2lb bag of carrots which by the way I cannot stand. Not sure I would spend the money on me to buy a juicer but will do something or other with the carrots. How come cooked carrots make me really ill but raw I am fine with? Do you have a food processor? I have one of those mini ones and I shred the carrots and eat them raw that way. The thing about a juicer is you can get more carrots down and thereby up the nutrients you get. I can drink the juice of 5 or 6 big carrots but could never eat that many in one sitting.
