Guest guest
I always try to run new recommendations through a doctrate level biochemist. I guess I am getting on their nerves with all my questions. Yet, here is a good commentary on sulforaphane. Dear : You are wearing me out! Generally our lifetime consulting agreement involves questions regarding your health, your protocols, and your situation. We generally cannot possibly answer every question you have regarding anti cancer substances as there are dozens of anti cancer substances that are basically related to one another. The question you ask regarding sulforaphane is a legit. question but at this point has very little to do with your situation. Nonetheless, since you asked we will answer. In our opinion the anti cancer effects of sulforaphane are not as diverse as the properties of its parent molecule from which it is metabolized from. The metabolic parent of this compound is in fact Glucosinolate which by virtue of its molecular structure features glycosides, sulfates, and anthroquinnone metabolites as it is broken down in a chain of reactions. The process of breaking down Glucosinolate should produce the same effects as other phenolic compounds,...however one intriguing difference exists,....sulfur! Sulfur carries a strong possitive charge and may, in theory, penetrate cancer cells as they carry a negative polarity and working like other metalic salts, ie,..cesium silver, rubidium, can carry the quinones and the phenol structures into the cell as a transport molecule,...and the glycosides also can increase absorbtion of calcium which normally transports oxygen into cells, only in cancer it cannot usually penetrate cell membrane which is why coral calcium is over rated. If i was going to suggest the metabolic starter or the sulforaphane as an ingredient I would go with the Glucosinolate as it features more anti oxidant properties, (which we prove become pro oxidants) and it also feature an altered sulfate molecule where the oxygen is single bound, easy to strip and harvest by your cells. If you look up these structure in wikiedia, you will see how much more of a pro oxidant the glucosinolate is. Researching disease activity you will see this molecule has the same treatment profile as all the other phenols, oxidants, and antioxidants, again suggesting the mechanism is one more time oxygen related,...and oxygen causes increase in peroxide in cancer cells. We are glad to answer you questions, but let us come up for air once in a while. Thanks again. your friend BP
