Guest guest
Hi, I just got an MRI done of my neck and chest and an unusual finding in the results was that my bone marrow was abnormal in appearance ... my vertebrae and clavicles' marrow appeared " stippled. " Though my dx was breast cancer mets, they felt this could either be mets to the bone marrow (no lesions detected) or lymphoma. Is there any way to see the marrow more clearly without a bone marrow biopsy? My surgeon is recommending a PET/CT, but that's so much radiation ... is there any other way? xxoo
