Some 25 years ago there was a lot written about fasting and running. One fellow fasted for a week then ran his best marathon of 2:33. More recently a woman fasted the last 24 hours and ran her best time around 2:54. On a juice fast you can go a long time and keep getting faster because you are getting all the nutrients. When I first became vegetarian I had nothing but vegetable juices for 4 months and kept running more miles and beating my times every race.
