Guest guest
The best treatment for both conditions is weight bearing exercise, along with taking vitamin D3 . Far as I'm concern ,there is no such thing as bad cholesterol .That's a pharmaceutical marketing hype. Cholesterol is not a disease .If it is too high ,it can be symptomatic of some other issues going on. > > My good cholesterol was 50 today my bad was 240 it has been up too > > 500.I forgot what she said the triglyceride' s were now. Guest guest
You are so right Joe. Exactly what is 'high' as regards Cholesterol? A cousin of mine, a female now in her 80s, was such a Cholesterol concern for her husband he could not retire because she would not be eligible for Medicare. Her readings were always over 300 and she is still the most healthful looking and active member of the family. Does not even try to eat what some of us might call healthy. I like your exercise suggestion and another concern is for elderly people trying to get their Cholesterol very low facing the potential for mental decline because Cholesterol, which we make, is needed by the brain which has one of the highest, if not the highest concentration of it in our bodies. The issue over Cholesterol is one of Big Pharma's biggest money makers and that speaks volumes. Joe C.
