1. Is it common to affect most or all people to have the runs after

having the gb removed??

1.Well It happened to me.

2. Are the runs as bad as what people are making them out to be here??

3. What are the other options I could take into consideration??

(maybe too late now since im off to the Pre-Admission appt tomorrow

and YES more questions will be asked now)

3. Do the pre-admission if you like-but they cannot make you do the operation or

anything else either. It is your body.

4. With having the runs does it still cause on-going weightloss since

you are unable to keep anything inside of you for too long before it

is coming back out again?? (sorry if that sounds a little yuck!)

4. Never did that to me as I eat a lot of healthy things. It did at first, but

now I seem to balance it out.

5. Are you in much pain once the gb is taken out and if so how much

and is there any difficulites that I could experience after my

surgery??

5. After my surgery was the worst time I ever spent in my life. A lot happened.

It takes a long time for your body to adapt to having no gall-bladder. A simple

meal of Kentucky chicken still sends me to bed sick-so I don;t eat too much

fatty foods. I had my GB out in 81 too.

6. This gasing of the stomach, does it cause much discomfort once you

have awoken from the surgery like does it give you more gas both ends

or just pain???

6. With me it was extreme pain and tenderness. My husband had to pull me up by

my wrists as I could not use my stomach to even sit up. My sister also had to

come and sit with me while hubby worked. I could do nothing at all.

7. I know we can live without a gb even though it can cause

complications etc but wouldnt you all prefer to have this out to stop

the pain or just put up with it?? I would prefer to have the gb

out..it would be crazy not too. correct?

7.Well knowing what I know now, I would have tried the flush first. I would not

have scars and 2 ruptures if I kept it. Or perrenial diahherea.
