Bones are important part of our body. Its main function is to move,

support and protect most parts of the body. And because of this it is

needed that we take good care of it for a health bones.

Here are some tips according to Dr. Mercola on how we can make our bones

strong:

1. Get plenty of omega-3 fats, such as krill oil, and reduce your

intake of omega-6 fats from vegetable oils. (Studies have shown that a

higher ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fats is linked to lower bone density

at the hip -- a condition that could lead to osteoporosis.)

2. Make sure you're getting enough vitamin K. It serves as the

biological " glue " that helps plug the calcium into your bone matrix.

Green leafy vegetables are excellent sources of vitamin K, but even

better is natto, a fermented soy food that I personally eat nearly every

day (it has the highest concentration of vitamin k in the human diet).

Hi ,

I recently gathered up the following information about bone health

for my wife.

take care,

Greg

Below are some excerpts and links to a discussion about bone health

and bone building. Also descriptions and links to the supplements

mentioned.

*****

Improved bone density

Excerpt:

After about 3-4 months on the RBTI program, for example, my wife had

a 4%

increase in bone mineral density as shown by two different bone scans

that were

six months apart. One bone scan was done before starting the RBTI

program and a

second bone scan was done after 3-4 months of RBTI program. Mincol

and other

appropriate calcium supplements and food is attributed to increasing

the bone

mineral density. Many people in the medical profession have told us

that can't

be done. After showing bone scan mineral density improvements, not

one of the

MD's have asked how we did this.

Mincol builds strong bones

Excerpt:

If you are looking for a calcium for your bones, the best source of

the type of

calcium you need is Min Col. The chemical and spectrographic analysis

of

Min-Col done in 1939 shows 25.42% of Phosphoric content (P2O5),

19.78% of

Calcium (CaO), 8.04% of Calcium Carbonate (CaO), and 3.82% of Tri-

Calcium

(Ca3[PO4]2). Add to that Calcium Fluoride (CaF2) at 1.632% and an

overall total

of 66 minerals all in colloidal form and you have the best calcium

supplement in

the world for your bones. There simply is no other supplement like

Min Col.

Mincol:™ Colloidal size particles extracted from soft rock phosphate,

from fossil deposits of ancient bones. This is a source of calcium

and other minerals in a phosphatic colloidal form, and is also a rich

source of the phosphate anion. Three capsules supply 324 mg of

elemental calcium. Min-Col™ is available in bottles of 100 and 250

capsules. (MS)

No pharmacueticals build bone

Excerpt:

By they way, I used to work for a company that made full size bone

densitometers. It was common knowledge (in our company meetings

anyway) that there were no pharmaceutical drugs that built bone - they

could only claimed that it would slow the progression of the disease.

Silica helps build bone

Excerpt:

Well, I had the Flora Brand of Vegetal Silica at home so I started

taking it

immediately. I took none of the prescribed pain pills and ate very

lightly, it

was pretty bad for the first week but by the beginning of the second

week much

better. By 2 1/2 weeks both were completely healed. The Doctor

couldn't

believe it. He had to go and get the xray from the original break

and compare

with the new xrays. He showed me there was not mistake, he showed me

where the

new bone was..

This is fantastic when you consider my age at the time was 52. I was

concerned

it might take much longer to heal.
