Hi Vince,

Which foods should be eaten raw, and which cooked?

Why?

Hi Ira,

Sorry you misread my post to think I said any specific foods " should " be

eaten raw. I didn't. I looked and looked at the post and couldn't find it

any where.

Now, I'll try and reexplain what I did say. We " should " try and add to our

daily diet raw foods, which can be digested raw. This would leave out a lot

of legumes, potatoes, and I'm sure you can come up with others. Some foods

need the heat to break down the otherwise undigestable stuff. The foods

that can be eaten raw would include things like lettuce, tomatoes, fruits,

broccoli, summer squash, garlic, green onion, and many others. The reason

it is good to include these foods in our daily diet is that some of their

nutrients and all of their enzymes are lost when cooked. Our bodies create

the enzymes we need when we are healthy, but it takes energy to do so.

Eating the raw enzymes allows us to get " free " enzymes with which to digest,

assimilate nutrients, and perform other vital bodily functions. Getting

these extra enzymes can make the difference between sickness and health in

many people. It can help us stay healthy if we already are.

Similarly, flushing the gallbladder and liver gives our bodies a " free "

cleaning without taxing our bodies over an extended period of time to clean

out the toxins and blockages in our livers and gall bladders. If we left it

to our bodies to do the same thing without flushes it may not happen in our

lifetime. Whether you want to alleviate an existing condition or prevent a

possible future problem, I'd recommend trying a flush. Have you ever

considered flushing? Do you have any specific thoughts or concerns about

flushing? Let us know; we're here to help if we can. :) There is a

tremendous amount of first hand experience with flushing on this list. Why

not avail yourself of some of it?
