Protandin??? Any one taking it.

I have been approached about this product from a friend. I guess she approached

me mainly because of my cancer diagnois last year. The claims they have I wonder

about, because it is a pyramid type of marketing. Any info or thoughts would be

appreciated.

Hi Carol:

The protandin is used to reduce inflammation. When Barbs ca 125 went up it was

due partly to inflammation. Keeping inflammation down is a good thing,

especially for cancer. Grains produce inflammation so these should be avoided.

Corn is a grain too.

The following is a list of ingredients contained in Protandim:

* silymarin from Silybum marianum (milk thistle).[13]

* curcumin from Curcuma Ionga (turmeric).[14]

* polyphenolics from Camellia sinensis (green tea).

* bacopasides from Bacopa monniera.

* withanolides from Withania somnifera.
