[ ] Intro/Newbie

Hi Everyone,

My name is Kim and my mom (56 years) was just diagnosed with colon cancer.

We're not sure of the stage at this point (her surgery is 9/20) but I am

beginning to investigate some alternative treatments. I have her on a green

tea regimen right now and she tried a detox product called Flor-Essence for

3 days. She has been experiencing a lot of painful cramping which seemed to

increase during the Flor-Essence. Can anyone help explain why she'd be in

so much pain? She is not in danger of a total obstruction, but the tumor is

on the right side, ascending colon. My guess based on the little info we do

know, is that this is not a Stage 1 situation.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My son has autism

and I've gained so much through interactions on autism-related boards.

I'm looking forward to learning from all of you- and eventually sharing

experiences with you as well.

Kindest Regards,

Kim

Green tea is the only tea I use and I cannot complain. I would rather be

grateful to green tea because it helps my digestive system and cleans the

intestines.

It helps very much for weight loss when I drink 3 - 4 cups a day. And I read

all the time about healthy stuff and I always come across to a lot of good

information about green tea. Everybody recommends green tea.

Bob,

Did you use pau D Arco? A lot of people use that. Also my friend used

chlorella. I'm guessing that raised the PHBJ

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. I think I dosed her too heavy

to start; we should have started slower and built up to full dosage with the

Flor-Essence. It probably just threw her body out of whack. I may try it again

building up slowly. Whether it works or not, only time will tell, but at least

it won't do any harm.

Thanks again everyone. :)

times--had two stem cell transplants. I used Essiac tea throughout, even between

relapses. Also used ginseng and astragalus. It really didn't help--the cancer

kept coming back. That's my experience. I don't know if there is any research

about Essiac's effects either on cancer cells or boosting the immune system.
