Guest guest
Nili, It is so wonderful to hear such a fantastic review of 's services. I have a list of people I will give money to if I ever have any, and is on the list. I am actually flying to Los Angeles tomorrow morning for a week. If Del Mar were closer, I'd pop in for a visit just to meet in person. ar > > Hi to all my fellow group members. I do not post on this list very often but I follow it religiously. It is through this group that I found most of the information that has helped me help my husband handle his lung cancer. We have just finished 's Mango retreat program and I want to let you all know that the cost of this program $5,000 is the best investment we have ever made. We have learned SO MUCH about so many different ways of handling cancer and living with it that we are in awe of and all his knowledge. We do not know whether 's suggestions and treatments will save my husband's life or not, but we do know without any doubt that this is the best shot we've got. For any of you reading this who have been waffling about whether to go to 's center or not I urge to do so. On another subject, we all take for granted 's advice and information and none of us could get this information from any doctor without paying a fee for the consultation. However, gives of his time and knowledge freely without ever asking or expecting anything in return. But the rent has to be paid and the lights have to be kept on and there are many costs involved with keeping this center running so I am taking it upon myself (I hope won't object to my doing this) to ask you all to support the Center for Natural Oncology http://www.natural-oncology.org/about.htm > in any way that you can. If you can send $1000 great. If you can send $100 great. If you can send $10 great and if you can send $1.00 > great. We are all faced with high costs of handling our health and not too many of us have loose change hanging around. BUT still I feel that deserves our help and support in keeping the Center open and functioning and being the vibrant place that it is. He never charges anyone for his advice. I have heard him speak to people on the phone for an hour answering questions. What doc would do thatwithout sending a bill? Yesterday, three sisters came here to speak with about possibly having their father with liver cancer come do the program. spent two hours with them answering all their specific medical questions and of course they left without having to pay a penny for this advise and knowledge. What doc would do that? > So I think it is up to us, the people who believe in alternative therapies and the people who profit from his knowledge to support the Center so that it can remain a vibrant retreat and oasis of knowledge and education for those who seek it. On the website for the center > http://www.natural-oncology.org/about.htm > is the address where to send your contributions and since the center is a not for profit organization you contributions are tax deductible. > I hope that no one will take any offense at this post but I truly feel the is always available to anyone who seeks help and we should help him in this endeavour. > Wishing everyone good luck and good health. > Nili >
Guest guest
Ar, You can catch Amtrak from L.A. Union Station to Solana Beach and I would happily pick you up. The train is a very fast and pleasant ride along the Pacific coast. I have a long list of lottery numbers to give you. Guest guest
I agree with you totally Nili. I don't post much but just read, read, read, and I have to agree with what you say about . He seems such an awesome person and I would love to be able to bring my sister from NZ to see him.
Guest guest
I am glad that some on this board have agreed with my posting. A friend of ours has just lost his battle with Lung Cancer this past Sunday. They actually were planning to go to do 's program but he became too weak to travel. Unfortunately they waited until it was too late. *In his memory *, I have sent a check for $25 to the Center for the Study of Natural Oncology. I urge you all to do the same in order to support the center and vincent's work. Don't forget that this is a tax deductible contribution and any amount no matter how small is welcomed (I am sure) and appriciated. I hope that others will start doing this as well. Together we can tame this beast. Best of Health to all Nili On Wed, Jul 28, 2010, Cheryl Mcduff <c.mcduff@...> wrote: > I agree with you totally Nili. Guest guest
I was one accused of 'shilling' for The Center and because I had suggested someone contact because they seemed so stressed and concerned. It is so easy today to find one's self cynical because of the obvious greed so evident. Back in '02, /03 when first dx'd with Bladder Cancer I was fortunate to have been referred to by a former list member, mjh (Foxhillers farms) whose son also had Bladder Cancer. We e-mailed a couple of times and suggested some 'basics' that most of us are familiar with but I wasn't at that time as regards cancer. We then spoke via phone and I suggested I was interested in attending a Mexican Clinic during a cross-country trip. suggested he did not think I needed to do that at the time. Later I learned he was directly connected with The SanDiego Clinic and that really impressed me that he would 'steer' me away from something he was connected with. I was not overly surprised, however, because after a couple of contacts it was obvious this was a sincere and kind person. We made the drive from Florida to California, with other destinations as well, and he devoted more than an hour of his time on his office day off. Additionally he gave me some Pau d' Arco and another substance he made.............without charge or a hint of a charge. I have personally witnessed a couple of people that I referred to when the Center was being funded by a generous person that has since ceased contributing. I know that he sent meds to these people and freely. In one instance he sent the airfare for a flight for one person's daughter to help him at the Center and, as often people do, this person went on vacation with his money. (sigh) I have suggested a few contact and it seems that most of them were very lacking in funds. Oh well, such is life. I remember hearing the sums it took to keep the Center functioning. Salaries, rents, lab-equipment blah, blah, blah. It was fine when this contributor was involved but not so fine now. Would it that everything in life, good that is, cost nothing. I sometimes write that people with cancer should be working with someone that knows what works and what doesn't because cancer doesn't always strike us down immediately which is often why conventional treatments seem to have worked and people claim 'cures'. Then, haven't we sometimes read that there are instances where people do as well doing nothing as they do with conventional treatment? In some cases, people were considered doing worse with treatment. has helped me change my attitude in some situations because one must defer to experts that present information properly and with reason. It reminds me of Herceptin which has a host of problems associated with it yet I recall saying, " it has sometimes turned difficult situations around " Hope this helps support reasons why some us of speak highly of our list member . Guest guest
Joe, Thank you for bringing out the fact that the person who used to fund the center no longer does and that leaves unable to provide free medications or free stays at the center, as much as I know he would like to. I wrote my post yesterday because I truly feel that it is up to us, the people who profit from 's knowledge, to help keep the center vibrant. We should not constantly *take* from , by profiting from his advice, without being willing to *give* something back. My husband and I were just there and returned home yesterday. I have been trying to get my husband to agree to go since February. He now says, he wishes he would have listened earlier. It probably would have saved us a lot of grief, pain and money. 's program is cheap in comparison to others that are being offered out there. So, again, I am suggesting that if you want to commemorate some occassion, birthday, anniversary, good scan results, graduation, etc. or if you want to memorialize someone's passing, send a contribution (small or large whatever you can) to the center and stand behind it. Guest guest
List, I appreciate the nice things that are being said about the Center. I try. One of the fun things about my work (and it is fun to watch people get well) is meeting the wide variety of humans who have cancer and find their way here. In two weeks I have a triple negative breast cancer farm woman coming who has never left her state, never flown in an airplane, never caught a taxi. I may extend her stay for a week as I always learn more from such people than I have ever learned from a medical mentor. When Louise from this list did the program she regaled me with many stories of Canadian native American healing methods. I would have flown to a , BC conference just to hear the same. This past week I had a visit from Per K. from Oslo who updated us on successful methods of mercury detoxificaton. Oslo doesn't have many people and I forgot to ask him if he was on the Nobel committee. New Yorkers Nili and Marty who came for the week taught me that Tramadol (non prescription in Mexico) can stop restless leg syndrome and steady a hand tremor. I would have gone to their conferences too. I often get the Hollywood crowd, but my favorites are the people on this list.

Guest guest
What a fabulous man you are . Do you have a website for you centre? Do you need volunteers to help at your centre? I am off to teach in Russia for 6 months mainly as a volunteer and then I am free to go anywhere. I would love to come and help you as a volunteer. Bless you. Kind regards Cheryl
Guest guest
Cheryl, Although your note was adressed to , and I am sure he will answer you, I am also taking the liberty of answering, having just been there. There is a website for the Center but it is lousy and very old http://www.natural-oncology.org/ If there are techi geniuses in this group who are willing to help put together a fabulous site I am sure it would be mor than appreciated. Per from Norway is going to be working on it but I would assume that he would welcome help from others. So there are ways that we can all help and keep this center and it's director, Gammill, flourishing. It is for all of our benefit. Guest guest
I am still in the process of trying to update my website. You can start volunteering for the Center by assessing the credibility of Schevchenko's cancer work with oil-alcohol emulsions. I have a copy of a couple of his books in Russian and these were largely dismissed by Ashot Khatchatrian from Novosibirsk. I have no effective way to examine the work of Golyuk and Arendt. I am curious about the traditional herbal treatments stretching from the Caucasus all the way to China. Now that there is so much more environmentally caused cancer I am curious about the treatments that practitioners are using that haven't yet surfaced here. I really don't want to be " fabulous " but if would be great if the Center could be described as such. To do so it must become more like a community of the bold and the rational and not revolve around any single person. If lightning strikes me I don't want a new cancer religion built around quotes over the years. In case no one has noticed I have from time to time changed my mind on things. We must all climb higher on the mountain to see farther and gain a corrective perspective.
