Guest guest
My daughter aged 8 has an optic glioma, also known as a juvenile pilocytic astrocytoma. Since March of 2007 she has experienced 7 operations to drain a cystic mass that abuts the tumour, with one tumour debulking. Siobhan has been off chemotherapy since September 2008. We have been following the Budwig Protocol in a form modified for a child since January 2009. According to our MRIs the tumour has not grown since June 2009. Before that time there was only growth, including during chemotherapy. Our last operation to drain cysts was Easter of 2009. The cystic mass has been stable since December 2009. Changing my daughter's diet and lifestyle has been difficult. If anyone wishes more details I am happy to provide. We have also used supplements that are compatible with the protocol. Our rambling story here: SiobhanFriends/files
