Guest guest
Our attitude is so important for healing, recovery and staying in remission. I never really believed that I would stay in remission. It is this fatalistic attitude that was the undercurrent--the underbelly as it were--of my slipping backwards into destructive dietary, physical and emotional patterns that I know create havoc in my body. If your body requires certain minerals, vitamins, etc. and one ignores this information, there have to be consequences. Shipmen on boats back in the 1600's or whatever got scurvy from lack of something. I think it was raw vegies or something. They never got it again caused they figured it out. I got an e-mail from a raw food family down in Ojai, California that talks about the wonderous gift God has given us with our bodies and all the inner workings of our bodies. I tried to find it to share, but couldn't. Why bother? Because you are worth it and because our lives and our bodies are a gift from God. It is how we treat our bodies that honors our Creator and our world. I will never put crap in my mouth again that isn't intended by nature to be there. I have treated my car better. Would I put sugar in my gas tank? Oh no, I faithfully change my oil every 3,000 miles and insist on the BEST highest grade oil there is. The same with my body. Why bother? Because once you have had the diagnosis of cancer we all must be super deligient to it's recurrence. I am a testament to that. Cancer is cunning, baffling and patient. Why bother? Because it is easier to prevent cancer then to treat and reverse it and way cheaper. I have gone through about $8,000 in the last month. That is almost enough organic foods for TWO years. Why bother? Because even though you get TIRED of having the buzzard on your shoulder and you almost want to say BRING IT ON AND LET'S GET THIS OVER WITH, you really don't mean that. Look at how hard of us are fighting to save our lives. Life is an incredible gift and I an NOT ready to say good-bye to ANYONE. With Loving Kindness, , Thank you for your advice. I will do my best to adhere to it. Part of me just feels like 'why bother?' But your influence is fabulous. I do wish you well. If anyone can make this work, it is you. But don't blame yourself for your recurrance! Sometimes it really is just bad genes. Please keep in touch. I am interested in the adrenal herbs you bought. ar
