Guest guest
Dear Collen, Wellcome to the group. I hope that you will find some helpful information here to follow your pathway to health. Please go to the groups bookmark pages for various links. There are also many cleansing recipe links and an FAQ link that may already answer some of your questions. It sounds as if you are on the right track to relieving your gallbladder problems. I would like to add, however, not to expect an overnight cure. It took a long time to make your stone and may take a long time to disintegrate it. When looking at the various flushes, you will notice that some of them have Epsom Salts added todrinks before and after the flush. These are to relax the bile ducts to inhibit stones from getting stuck. If you decide to do this, I would highly recommend using pure red grapefruit juice in place of the water. It really masks the taste of the Epsom Salts. So.....look through the bookmark links, question the archives (ex. Gold Coin Grass is in there) and good luck! Suzanne > Hello. I have just joined this group. Yesterday I was informed, after an ultrasound, that I have a large gallstone in my gallbladder. I was told it is 2.3 cm. The doctor of course, told me the only treatment is removal of the gallbladder.......
Guest guest
Colleen, There are cholesterol and calcium stones. I have passed what I believe was a cholesterol stone that was just over an inch in size which is about 2.5 cm. Go back a few days in messages and read Dale's story. He has overcome gallstones and is living well today. If your diet is poor at all, change it immediately. Do not eat any white flour products or sugar. No hydrogenated fats in anything. I read on www.curezone.com/gallstones that stones can reform in as little as three days, which may be why as we continue to cleanse, we continue to have them coming out. The Gold Coin Grass is a good idea. I am going to start that myself next week. You can cleanse every two weeks. I have done 11 cleanses and not had a problem with a stone getting stuck, although I have heard of this happening but not to anyone I know. I figured I would either have surgery or emergency surgery, there was not much of a difference to me. Either way, it was coming out. But I have been living this way for six months. I get attacks when I eat something bad, usually something very greasy or very fatty. I have no problem eating natural fats and don't understand why, but I eat plenty of them as well as nuts and seeds. I am now determined not to put anything unhealthy in my mouth as long as it takes and have not had an attack in over two weeks. True confessions I actually ate three cookies yesterday fully expecting an attack and did not have one. I felt like that was progress. I made the cookies with butter and whole grain flour. I am back on the program today. Made my hubby take them to work. Dawn PS. The Epsom salts help dilate the bile ducts and help the stones pass. Has anyone passed a stone this large? Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do next, beyond what I am already doing? I have no intentions of having the surgery, though I am a bit concerned that the stone could become lodged in a duct or something and I would find myself in some sort of emergency surgery situation. > > > Thank you, > Colleen > > >

Guest guest
Welcome, Jillian! Sorry that you have RA, especially in your youth. Do you have an excellent rheumatologist? What medications do you take? We'll try to help you any way we can. I'll tell you where to go! Mayo Clinic in Rochester http://www.mayoclinic.org/rochester s Hopkins Medicine http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org [ ] New at this Hi Everyone~ My name is Jillian and I am a 22 year old suffering with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was diagnosed at 16 and have been battling this " wonderful " disease. My friend told me to join a support group to see if this might help me get thru things that my friends can't help me with. I guess I really don't know where to go from here. I am just trying to figure my life out and trying to manage RA all in the same time. I guess just knowing that other people are out there with the same problem is reassuring. Dealing with this disease is not easy alone, so i figure maybe talking to people might help. Have a wonderful day and I will hopefully talk to someone soon. Jillian
Guest guest
Thanks for the email. I know that there are many new breakthroughs and so I am hoping with going to see the rhuematologist, for the 1st time since i was 16, I am hoping that things will begin to turn around. So we will see what happens. I am nervous, but at the same time I am excited because i need to change things in my life and they need to start now. But i have to study. I hope that you have a wonderful night and I will hopefully email and talk to you soon. mormar46 <mormar46@...> wrote:Hi Jillian, Welcome to this group, but sorry you had to start at such a young age. On the plus side, however, there are many new breakthroughs happening every day, and with your youth you may see something great happen! Support groups are the best thing that could ever happen for someone with any sort of health challenge, and your friends were right to encourage you to find one to help you with your RA. Friends and family are wonderful, but unless you can talk with someone who knows exactly how you are feeling, they just don't understand it completely. and a are wonderful with tons of information, and everyone else is very supportive and friendly and helpful, not to mention sometimes downright funny at times. Peace, Judi
