You have every right to be skeptical because to date 'they' still have doubts as

to whether or not polyps are the bad guys that eventually turn into cancer.

There is also much discussion as to whether or not routine Colonoscopies are

beneficial and considering the dangers and in particular the 'cleanser' dangers

one should entertain a lot of thought before having them.

I have had my last such exam back in November and that was because of some heavy

bleeding which turned out to be nothing.

As for Aspirin? More than 40 years ago I was hospitalized twice, after aspirin

use, with bleeding from a Duodenal Ulcer. Sort of makes one think about its

use.

I read the article yesterday and did a google for Hodgkin's Lymphoma and asprin

and there is a benefit according to the research.  Anyone with HL should look

it up and read about it.  I was also able to find something about using asprin

with Cimetidine (Tagamet) to decrease the itching symptom.  Since I suffer

miserably from insatiable itching, which worsens as the day goes on, I am going

to give it a try.  The itching is a symptom of Hodgkin's in 30-35% of people who

get it, and I am in that lucky group.

Cayenne is much safer than aspirin and I believe more beneficial.

I stopped taking aspirin years ago after I discovered cayenne--incredible herb.

I also had stomach problems with aspirin.

You are lucky, I've tried both and had no luck with either.  : (

I lessen my itching with high dose vitamin C (I use powder, 1 tsp or more in cup

of water) plus I sprinkle lots of turmeric on my salad. Both are excellent for

inflammation and itching. phine
