Guest guest
My mother suffers from advance stage ovarian cancer.Till now she was on chemotherapy session which decreased her CA 125 count. It went back to 32 from 1900 while normal range is 0-35 as Dr says. Now since 3 months she is only on medicines. Her hair has started growing but we can notice some patch on head which is still without hair. Now her MRI reports show that cyst which was earlier 11.5cm has decreased to 4.2 while CA 125 count has grown to 69.She also religiously do Yoga and breathing exercises. Can anyone suggest what could be the possible reason of count increase. Is chemo sessions the only cure left for her everytime. She avoids taking any milk product. How should I help my mother. Guest guest
CA-125 is not a reliable test. Hcg titers and blood lactic acid is much more reliable but it is difficult to get them to run these tests for you as they are stuck on protocol and few take suggestion without feeling challenged.
