Can IP6 screw up one's mineral assimilation?

I am taking about 6 grams of IP6 a day to fight colon cancer, and have

been for about 6 months. I'm wondering if it is screwing up my mineral

assimilation.

I take supplemental magnesium (maleate), zinc, selenium, and chromium.

However I am not taking supplemental calcium at this time. I do

consume some calcium via the Budwig FO/CC, but I'm wondering if I

should add calcium pills to my regimen.

I've read arguments about whether calcium should be taken at the same

time as magnesium. Many sources say " yes " and in fact combine calcium

and magnesium into single supplement pills. Vitamin Research Products,

a company I have a lot of respect for, claims that it is BAD to take

calcium and magnesium together and that they should be separated.

I take Coral Calcium in the am and Magnesium Orotate in the pm. I've always

known them to be taken separately.
