As a metabollic practioner you follow Dr. Kelley's protocol , correct?. I am just trying to get some sense of COHESION in this vast sea of diverse protocols and recommendations. Solid info would help. There is so little, except for Budwig and Gerson. Guest guest
Johanne and e: Yes, I agree with you. There in no cohesion in cancer treatment. I found this out 14 years ago when death was staring me in the FACE. One book says cooked foods or macrobiotic. Another one would say raw foods. One would say tomatoes were good for you, another would say they are nightshades and stay away from them. I had to make decisions that I felt were right for me and go inside to what not only felt right, but made sense from logical reasoning. Also, the majority ruled in a lot of cases. Currently, I am in a debate between those who think mushrooms are good VS. Cousens who copied his theories from O. Young, who says stay away from " cancer-causing " mushrooms. Where Young says to stay away from fermented foods forever and no chlorella, spirulina or blue-green algae, Cousens seems to ignore that part of Young's theories and includes algaes from the beginning of his diet. Where Young says to forever stay away from fermented foods (i.e. kefir, vinegar, saurekraut, etc.) Cousens starts allowing them in the second phase of his diet. What is one to believe? What ever one chooses. Research, research, research. Talk to people like on this website and then make your BEST informed guess/estimate of what might work. I remember working VERY hard in 1994/1995 and when I would begin one alternative protocol, I was reading and studying ALL the time to see if I missed something. I wouldn't call it obsessive because my life was on the line. I would end one protocol and begin another one or be preparing for it right away. There is no magic bullet on this website, but a concerted effort by very caring individuals to share a multitude of information and YES you are going to have to sort through everything yourself. One could go and pay thousands of dollars to this doctor or this clinic and be in no better position then sifting thru ALL the information here except that your pocketbook is richer by coming here. Frustrating? Of course, but I would think it would be more frustrating to not have this resource. I don't remember anything like this in 1994. Did we even have the internet back in 1994. Be gratitude for those who spend time helping others. I see a lot of people reaching out to others. People have been so wonderful to me on this website. e writes, " So Many protocols? But which work? " If we knew that we wouldn't be writing to this website all the time to try and figure it out and we would all be filthy rich. This website is a free service to anyone who needs the help. We do it gratefully, but with the understanding there is a BIG question mark for most of us whether any treatment will work specifically for us. Maybe it worked for Jo? But we aren't Jo and our bodies, our lifestyles, our diets, our genetic make-up is different. Thank goodness that there is a vast sea of information about curing or healing cancer. It means many people are trying to come up with an answer. But the ONLY expert for the cancer patient is herself after she has experimented on herself with the various treatments, diets, injectables, etc. This is only what it can be called. There is no ONE way. But a multitude of paths which lead down one road hopefully to the healing of a damaged body by a dis-ease some call CANCER. I am back from Texas and I about to hit the " cancer " in my body with everything I've got. I've now only got 38 days to blast it out before my next CT scan. The results of that CT will determine much of what I and my other doctors decide to do. I have made the decision to not post anything up here for the next month as my primary focus is now going to be to blast the biggest tumor measured on Ocober 19th as 3.5 cm x 1.9 cm, which is huge and is very fast growing. I know the oncologist is just WAITING to put me on some toxic damn s#$% which will be all down hill from there, I am sure. SO, yes, I am in BATTLE against this damn little THING which has grown from NOTHING to BIG in less then 9 months. And it is in my left lung and not that far from a heart valve. I'm not even concerned about the other little snot tumors of 8mm, 6mm and 5mm. I'll deal with those later. Do the nurses in the chemo room at the hospital think I " m off my rocker? Probably, since I announced last month that I had 90 days to cure myself; and then suddenly this old counselor of mine comes walking by and wants to know how I'm " feeling? " So yeah, they don't believe any of this stuff works. I told the cancer support group a month ago that I didn't feel comfortable in their group; that I thought they had all been brainwashed by the medical system and that indeed I had fought and won 14 years ago with terminal cancer. The counselor just DIED when I said that. Then a lady got really mad at me and said she felt I was judging the group and that indeed she didn't think ANYTHING could be done to fight cancer---your path is determined by the course of the disease. I went back ONE more time to this group and then decided that if I stayed in that group I could very well die as no one (except a few patients who privately told me of some alternative things they were doing) seemed to be doing anything to fight the cancer. Previously, another woman who had belittled my attempts at alternative treatments is now listed as terminal. So, I am doing something constructive during the 1 1/2 hours I would have been attending the support group. I am doing yoga. I am in for a fight for my life and I am going to hit this damn thing with every toxic herbal remedy in my arsenal----my " chemotherapy. " No light-weight fluffy stuff here, folks. We're talking GORILLA WARFARE. Blood root (i.e. Compound X), Ozone, colonics, fasting, etc. If no one has ever read Dr. Schulze's book There Are No Incurable Diseases ( Schulze got his ideas from the fanous herbalist Dr. , who actually said, " There Are No Incurable Diseases! His treatments are cheap, but you can substitute some of the formulas with Dr. 's original formulas on www.iherb.com for even less or if you are sensitive to alcohol. Look for " 's Formulas.
