Guest guest
I have heard people claim that their breast cancer surgery was a success. Or that their colon cancer surgery was a success. Please enlighten me, what kind of success did they achieve? Did the quality of life of the person increase? Did the lifespan of the person increase? Does this mean the cancer did not come back? Any visible evidence of cancer is gone from my body. > Did the quality of life of the person increase? Mine sure did - 'cause my cancer is no longer present and that means I didn't need chemo. > Did the lifespan of the person increase? I sure do believe that my lifespan has increased. > Does this mean the cancer did not come back? 2 years and counting...

Radiation to kill any cancer cells that might have escaped during surgery. I continue to research and try to discover how to improve my chances of not developing cancer again.
