Guest guest
Hello to all the estrogen dependent men and women. I just re-read Ori Hofmekler's book, " The Anti-Estrogenic Diet, " last night. The answers I have been seeking were in front of me the whole time on my book shelf. He is onto something big here. He has you complete a liver cleanse and starts loading your body with anti-estrogenic herbs from the get-go. His book confirms some of what my doctor said about black cohosh and red clover as being estrogen-promoting. He has the whole thing down about the good and bad estrogens. Go to www.amazon.com and get a cheap copy. Please do this even if you are a guy and don't believe in estrogen dominant cancers in men. This book was a number #2 best seller on Amazon.com. I have spoken to Ori on several occasions. He is thoughtful, very caring and easily assessible to anyone who would like to contact him. He even puts his capsules in non-toxic plastic containers at great expense to his company. A very conscientious man!! You must read this book to get the complete info. I could post things on here, but you won't get the full protocol and understanding of how his program works. I regret posting the info about my doubts about the whey protein last night before I went to bed. But after re-reading the book late last night, I think I am going to be fine. I am going on his protocol, which mirrors aspects of Cousens, Jerry Brunetti and the Weston A. Price Foundation and the Russians who were into the raw fermented thing before most of us were even a gleam in our parents eye. Men and women are affected by estrogen dominance. If you didn't want to spend the money on his whey protein supplement, you could simply find out what's in it and duplicate the herbs he has in his at www.defensenutrition.com. Go to www.iherb.com and find cheaper sources. I sent a link last night for 100% sugar free and 100% hormone free whey protein powder. Guest guest
, I have that book, but haven't read it yet. A woman in another group is following the diet closely and she says she feels wonderful. ar On Sat, 20 Dec 2008 16:27:48 -0000, " dorrnancy " <dorrnancy@...> said: > Hello to all the estrogen dependent men and women. Guest guest
Arlyn: I bought the book over a year before my re-currence. Ori slams soy big time. But what did I do after reading the book? I followed O. Young's protocol of TOFU. What we do or don't do; what we eat or don't eat can have life-threatening consequences. , I have that book, but haven't read it yet. A woman in another group is following the diet closely and she says she feels wonderful. On Sat, 20 Dec 2008, " dorrnancy " said: > Hello to all the estrogen dependent men and women. But, since there is no ONE cure for cancer, it is trial and error. Some have problems with tofu, and then there is Jane Plant who swears she stays cancer free by eliminating all dairy and eating tofu. Then there are the Budwig people who have dairy daily and many do very well on this protocol. ar -- Arlyn Grant arlynsg@...
Guest guest
, How can one know if a whey protein product has hormones? Thanks.
Guest guest
The product will state that it is hormone free if it is hormone free. Trust me, companies know people are getting smart. They would WANT to put it on their label. So if it doesn't say hormone free, 100% assume that it is NOT hormone free.
