Count my child in - he was not severely jaundice but took a few days to get

rid of the yellowish coloring. I was also preeclampsic.

I have a child who has been 'unoffically', as of yet, put on the spectrum.

He is 9 and has ADHD, outbursts, OCD tendencies, and communication issues.

Nate was born early and was severely jaundice.

I am interested as to how many others were jaundice.

Jaundice has also been linked to auditory processing disorder which as

you might know, is a big part of the issue for many of the kids on the

spectrum.

My son was not Jaudice but interestingly I and my mother were both severely

jaundice. If you look at Fragile X the genetic issues often skip a generation.

There is so much bing done on mapping the human genome, I would expect answerers

very soon.

Our son, Hunter, had jaundice! He did not require the lights or extra

hospitalization. Worked through it by feeding and keeping him by a window

throughout the day!!

My son had jundice too ... Correct me if I am wrong but that was a sign of liver

weakness and unable to detox.  So if we would have a good pediatric they would

automatically advise us to wait for any vaccination and add toxic to his body

that he was unable to fight.

Our son had jaundice too.  Just slightly.  He did the lights I believe for a

few days.  Do you think that the jaundice itself is possibly a factor in some

kids with asd or is the jaundice just more of a clue that our kids' immune

systems were weak from the womb???

Thanks.

My son has AN, auditory neuropathy... he is profoundly deaf from this disorder

and has cochlear implants, but we know many kids with KI and AN who can speak,

but understand only a fraction of language and communicate very poorly.
