Of course readers of this list are sophisticated enuff to detect which of

those listings tilt into

religious type thinking. I spotted, for example, a link to Dr. L. Day. I

heard her on a radio

talk show, where she was talking about her recovery from cancer, and while

listening, i

thought, uncharitably, " She is healed???? " Of what??? " Among her

recommendations is

to quite reading newspapers. Ah, that must have been the source of my

troubles! Also, have

you ever heard her theories on 9-11 ? Crackpot covers it, as in

mass-conspiracy theory.

If you think the big issue is really God vs. Satan, she may be your doctor.

Sorry to rant

at length, but i think the unthinking, every-school-of-thought-is-valid

attitude has to be

combatted. Another lesson in the Dr. Day story, and applies also to other MD

purveyors

of proprietary nostrums, is to that the " MD " title should not automatically

entitle the bearer

to some powerful aura of authority.
