Guest guest
I did my first liver flush this past weekend with Hulda 's recipe. I was so nervous. I got out hundreds of stones, some tiny, some up to 3/4 inch long. I also used a hot water bottle over my gall bladder, which helped I think. I had been noticing that I have slight chest pain after eating fatty meals, and thought this would be a good idea. I'm 40 and in good health besides being overweight. I've also heard this can help allergies, which I have. My one problem with the flush was that the epsom salts gave me terrible diarrhea. My bowels turned to liquid about an hour before I drank the oil. I managed to sleep through the night, but Sunday I ran to the bathroom with liquid stools about 25 times. Is this normal? Should I reduce the amount of epsom salts next time? If so, how much should I use? I haven't decided if I feel better today or not. I feel kind of strange. Maybe my body is re-settling any remaining stones. I feel happy that I got so many out. I am already looking forward to the next cleanse. I am trying to convince my DH to do this. He's already had his gallbladder out 6 years ago due to gallstones at age 29. He thinks I am nuts for doing this. I showed him the stones, but all he said was " gross " . He said how do I know that isn't just digested olive oil? He is so in denial. G. lag17@...
Guest guest
Dear , I had the same problem as you re: diarrhea. No fun having a burnt Bum:( Yes, you could use less epsom salts, just experiment. I ended up using 2 Tblsp. + 2 tsp. for the whole flush instead of the 4 Tbsp that Hulda recommends. Some people are just more sensative than others. I also use pure red grapefruit juice instead of water to mix the epsom salts in. I'm just beginning to feel a slight tenderness below my right ribs and plan to do another flush to put my body back into shape. Congratulations on your first flush! You sound like you got very good results! Your body will tell you if you need to do this again...it is likely that you may need to do it a few times, but time will tell. Usually you feel pretty good for a few weeks, then symptoms may return as stones " move down " from the liver ducts. A lot depends upon how far along you are with this. When I used to do these flushes at the age of 30 something, one or two seemed to do it, now at 50 something, it seems that I need to do more. If you are generally a healthy, strong person that isn't " wiped out " by things, you may want to do this again in two weeks, if you do get wiped out easily, or are unhealthy in general, you may want to let you body rest a bit, and do in a month or so. Did you mix the Epsom's with fresh squeezed Grapefruit Juice and chill before drinking? It makes all the difference...still not a taste treat, but oh so much better. L.
