Guest guest
Dawn, yes, it's natural to lose weight after surgery, but as you get better and your appetite returns, you'll start picking it up. Stay on a healthy diet, you'll pick up weight. Also, I don't know what it is that your question was about, absorbing all the fat stuff. Never heard of it. I've had surgery several times in my lifetime. Had to have emergency surgery when I was 18 for a bowel obstruction. The doctors saved my life, literally! I would have been dead a day or two later had it not been for this wonderful osteopathic surgeon. I even still remember that guy's name. Next, I exploratory surgery by a cut-happy freak. That was back in about '78. I also had one doctor saying in his second opinion, " Oh, yes, you need it, they can't see it though a laprascope. " The cut-happy freak doctor said that it would be impossible to see my female organs and make a diagnosis through the easier surgery because of my first abdominal surgery. Actually, he messed me up even more. Then, years later (and never seeing that doc again, of course), having very severe female problems, I went to a different doctor, female gynecologist. She wanted to do a DNC and laprascopic surgery. Guess what, she could see just fine. But her DNC only corrected things just a little bit, which lasted about 3 months. See, my mother took DES to have me and it caused very severe female problems, although I didn't have the cancer that many have, it made me infertile. Doctors who gave women DES to have children back in the '40s through the '60s to help solve the miscarriage problems (which it didn't), caused their daughters/sons to have very bad problems, even cancer and infertility. Back in 1990, my gynecologist finally gave me a hysterectomy. I couldn't take the agonizing pain anymore. It was getting worse month after month, so I opted for the surgery after having a second opinion. It was my last resort. Didn't mean to ramble on, but that's what happened! Guest guest
I use a supplement called " Fat Grabbers " by Nature's Sunshine (yes, I sell the stuff, not bigtime, so don't worry, not pushing anything on anyone). Chitosan is from some kind of sea creature, forget what, but they say if you are allergic to shell fish, you should avoid it. Fat Grabbers contains psyllium, lecithin, guar gum, & chickweed. Lecithin emulsifies the fat, and chickweed does also, psyllium & guar gum absorb it. Works great! and is vegetarian, natural. L. I do not want to eat a lot of bad
