Guest guest
Hi Ar, Great news regarding glucarate. Melatonin removes estrogens and it is cheaper. Check www.swanson.com for prices I buy my glucarate from them. Good luck ND Arlyn wrote: > , > > I've been a bit distracted lately and I totally forgot to mention to you something that will truly help your system. > > I had estrogen driven cancer. My naturopath and I have been working at discovering what the heck is going on in my body that the hormones became so unbalanced. For a quick background on me - I have been a raw food vegetarian since 2001. I never, ever ate soy. My diet now has a lot more cooked food in it for various reasons. I never smoked. I have never any alcohol. I am so not someone who is supposed to develop breast cancer. > > Anyway, I discovered that I have adrenal fatigue. This can cause estrogen dominance. I never had fibrocystic breasts, but my thermograms clearly indicate that the tissue is holding too much estrogen. You really should scrounge up some money for a thermogram. It can help you track this. > > So, first, the flaxseed diet (Budwig) should be good at helping get that extra estrogen out of your breasts. > > But, I have become totally dependent on Calcium D-Glucarate. Do some googling and you will be amazed. MD is currently in some sort of trial or research, or something with it. > > Basically, this stuff gets the extra estrogen out of your body. > > I take the maximum dose daily. I order it online and it costs me approximately $38 a month. That sounds like a lot. But, let me tell you what I discovered. On two occasions, I have gone off the D-Glucarate. The last time was for three months. I've lost my job and I'm afraid I won't be employed for a very long time. So, I was trying to save some money. > > While on the calcium D-Glucarate, my periods are right on time, every month, without trouble. Minimum discomfort. However, if I miss a day or two of D-Glucarate, my periods stop. And when they do come, they are painful and lay me out on the couch for two days. So, it's doing something. I won't go off the pills again. Due to my unemployment, I went off the pills and didn't have a period for almost 4 months. > > So, no matter what you decide, you need to do something. If a mammo isn't the right thing for you, then you need to do thermography - NO MATTER THE COST. You are at very high risk for developing breast cancer. Please don't just sit it out, so to speak. > > Now, if only I could get over my fear of NOT having a mammo...In a perfect world, I would never have another one. > > Also, because of your high risk, you are a candidate for tamoxifen as a preventative. I refused to take tamoxifen because the list of side effects were horrendous and I react poorly to medications, anyways. > > Okay, please keep me informed on what you decide. I am behind your decisions 100%. And I'm glad you are asking so many questions. It's good to get different opinions in order to help you decide what is right for you. > > ar > > > > > ------------------------------------ > >
Guest guest
Hi , I have been using melatonin for years - prior to developing cancer. It didn't do squat for me, obviously. I am an insomniac of long standing, so I'm familar with it. I'm now up to 20 mgs nightly, and I can tell you from my personal experience, it doesn't do anything for my estrogen levels. I get my Calcium D-Glucarate here: http://www.drugnatural.com/p/156467 This is the brand my ND recommends. I also believe they are vegetarian. I've got the dosing down. I'm nervous about switching to another brand. I feel good about these. ar > > Hi Ar, > Great news regarding glucarate. Melatonin removes estrogens and it is > cheaper.
