Where is calcium d-glucarate found?

Calcium D-glucarate is available in capsules and tablets. Foods high in glucaric

acid (a form of calcium D-glucarate) include apples, Brussels sprouts, broccoli,

cabbage, and bean sprouts.

I thought this may be helpful for those of us who can't afford another pill

right now, but can certainly improve our diet.

Hi ,

You would have to blend or juice enough of those veggies to get enough calcium

D-glucarate daily. Remember, I'm a vegetarian who loves brocolli and brussel

sprouts. And nothing beats those pills. I think, in the long run, the pills

are cheaper than trying to eat enough of the veggies below. That's just my

opinion, of course. So, eat the veggies, and add the supplements.

One thing you should think about is that you are not trying to avoid a problem.

You are trying to correct a problem. There's a difference in the amount you

need to fix something that's broken vs. what you need to maintain.
