They will showcase the cured and how they did it! On 4/17/08, Ellen <rhudy@...> wrote: > > I also hated the show. Too much of a downer. People need to get to the core of what caused their cancers and correct that before any so-called " treatment. " What a downer.
Guest guest
I also watched the program with my wife. She was by my side through all of my chemo treatments. half way through we turned it off because she was starting to cry. I wish they would have shown the truth about chemo and survivability rates. There is really no reason to go through chemo after we had done our research. I was given a slim chance to survive, but survive I did through a diet change and a good naturopath. Guest guest
Look at the bright side of it. Modern medicine clearly admitted that they are clueless and cannot cure the condition. Consider their admission a blessing and move on to the natural treatments that actually do cure the condition. I have said this before, in my opinion, this is a metabolic disorder. It has nothing to do with the cell itself but rather its immediate environment which acts upon the cell causing it to malfunction. Again, in my opinion, it is for that reason that natural methods work as they address the cause of the problem which is toxicity due to a lack of adequate nutrition and poor drainage that produces stagnation and the hypoxia in the cell that triggers the cancer response. Warburg was awarded the Nobel Prize for this discovery. All of the good alternatives deal with these important parameters. I know a girl who beat pancreatic cancer. She did it by following a combination of the Kelley and Gerson protocols. She never had conventional treatment only because she was uninsured which kept her from harm. Had she had insurance, I have no doubt she wouldn't be with us today.
Guest guest
This would be a good time to remind everyone that chemo is mostly ineffective against the majority of cancers which are carcinomas of the epithelial tissues. Below is an interview about the Austrailian chemo study that clearly showed it as being virtually useless. http://www.abc.net.au/rn/talks/8.30/helthrpt/stories/s1348333.htm Some forms of chemo are beneficial, however. IPT shows much promise but I am of the belief that Leatrile is significantly more effective if applied correctly. The NCI studies among others debunked Laetrile but those who were knowledgeable about its use said that the studies were intentionally misapplied so they could discredit its use. Dr. Carl T. of Canada in his highly informative audio tape series states that it only works synergistically with vitamin A and good digestive enzymes such as Woebenzym and my favorite, MarcoZyme from Marco Pharma. Dr. Kanamatsu Sugiura, the World famous cancer researcher was quoted as saying that Laetrile caused cancer cells to " drop like flies " under his microscope. http://www.1cure4cancer.com/scientificfacts.html The definition of true insanity is to continue doing exactly the same things and expecting different results. Modern medicine is clearly off track with this disease. Its time for our tax dollars to be spent on other methods in an open and competitive environment fairly reported by unbiased third parties beyond the influence and control of the FDA and the various cancer societies who have proven time after time that they have a profit agenda and are not interested in treatments that work. > > I also watched the program with my wife. Guest guest
About three years ago I switched to a totally organic diet. Even if I eat meat it has no hormones or steroids. It has been very expensive nearly doubling my budget for food but worth it. I switched to goats milk and millet rice if I wanted a snack. When I was going through chemo my oncologists wanted no anti-oxidants at all but his advice fell on deaf ears. I was taking the following Shitake Mushroom Vitamin D Cod liver oil Omega 3 Vitamin C There were a few other supplements but I would have to go back and look at my log to be sure. I still have very severe neuropathy from the chemo and have found nothing so far that helps. But at least I am still here. I also think I remember reading a post somewhere that using high doses of Niacin (beware of the flushing) had a good effect on numbness in someone's feet. I think he had to slowly increase doses over time, starting with a small dose and working up. 3d. Re: NHL - chemo/radiation side effects Posted by: " Suhair Majaj " lmajaj@........ Date: Sat Sep 1, 2007 12:29 pm ((PDT)) The Dana Farber protocol for peripheral neuropathy involves Vitamins B1, B6, B12, E, alpha lipoic acid and fish oil, among other things. My husband takes these, and so far (six months) he has not developed PN. (By 12 months on Thalidomide nearly 100% of people develop PN, I've read.) Some people on a myeloma list claim that the vitamin protocol can help reverse PN, but I don't know if that is a valid statement or not. However, it may not hurt to try. Guest guest
Thanks! I noticed this " just in time " too. But, for those who miss it tonight, it is re-airing on saturday at 1 am (which is when my tivo will be getting it!) Thanks, ew! :~) Thia On Wed, Oct 28, 2009 at 4:34 PM, Ernest Willingham <99tomatoes@...>wrote: > > > Hey gang, all of you that are in the US, I will like to call attention to a > PBS documentary that is going to be on tonight. Guest guest
How fascinating. I just came into this message board about 9:15 p.m. or thereabouts and read about this program. I immediately put in a tape in my vcr and I'm recording it. I watched it a bit and it was about how it's legal to go into a smoke shop in Amsterdam and smoke pot. And there's different strains, so you can get different experiences!!! Really??? They showed people sitting at tables, and it was like it could be anywhere in the world smoking and having a drink. So what does going into a smoke place and smoking cannabis do exactly for a person? I didn't see anyone getting high or acting nuts. Just calm serene people, SMOKING POT. My god, how the world has changed. lol Melody > > > > > > > Hey gang, all of you that are in the US, I will like to call attention to a > > PBS documentary that is going to be on tonight.
