Guest guest
From my perusing the last few days, I learned the following: D3 is the only acceptable form of oral vitamin D, although sunlight is always preferred. A cancer patient should probably be taking 10,000 units a day, although Dr. Mercola says one should be tested at this level to prevent toxicity. The best form of selenium may be methylselenocysteine. Some alternative cancer sites advocate very high levels of iodine supplementation -- 50 -- 100 mg a day. However, in browsing the web, I found that iodine is a chemical used in making " meth " , and most forms of supplements having this high an amount of iodine are not available anymore. Guest guest
Hello jrrjim, You can also look into calcitriol. It's an activated form of vitamin D that bypasses parathyroid control. You can get serum levels higher. It has the ability to slow the cancer cell cycle, giving other things more time to work. Guest guest
Is this a prescription med? I don't seem to see it listed on the popular vitamin web sites. > > j> From my perusing the last few days, I learned the following: > > j> D3 is the only acceptable form of oral vitamin D, although sunlight is > j> always preferred. Guest guest
Hello jrrjim, Yes it's a script drug. However you can get it from various Canadian pharmacy sites without prescription. You can find it for about a buck a pill. Mike Saturday, January 10, 2009, 11:34:13 PM, you wrote: j> Is this a prescription med? Guest guest
Jim, For iodine information, look at http://www.breastcancerchoices.org. You can order yourself the iodine loading test. And you can supplement, if needed, with Iodoral. ar On Sat, 10 Jan 2009 22:46:16 -0000, " jrrjim " <jim.mcelroy10@...> said: > From my perusing the last few days, I learned the following: > > D3 is the only acceptable form of oral vitamin D, although sunlight is > always preferred.
