What types of cancer does this work for? ~Amber -- [ ] HCG test for monitoring cancer Hi Jim, Have you tried the HCG test for monitoring your cancer? It's been a Godsend for me. It's the only testing I do. However, I know it doesn't work equally well for all cancers. Wanda > I have no way of knowing what my cancer is doing. Tumor markers > didn't work on my cancer. Guest guest
Hi Amber, The HCG urine test accurately measures the amount of cancer in your body. It's a great way of monitoring your progress while on an alternative healing program. It measures the fast growing cells such as occur during pregnancy or with cancer. (So don't take the test if you're pregnant!) You mix some morning urine with rubbing alcohol and acetone, pour it through a coffee filter, let it dry, and then send it to a clinic in the Philippines. There are other places that do this test, but Dr. Navarro in the Philippines is the one who invented it about 40 or more years ago, and his son carries on his work today. The test costs only $50. You can find detailed information about this test and the science behind it here http://www.new-cancer-treatments.org/Articles/Determine.html I've been doing this test every two months for a year and a half now, since quitting chemo and starting alternative healing (Budwig plus additional detox methods) for my Stage 4 breast cancer. There is a scale for the test, whereby 49 and below is the normal range. I started with a score of 59 and have come down to 54 during this time. Another benefit of the HCG test is that, depending on your particular situation, you may be able to eliminate the need for CT scans, PET scans, and X-rays, which are all damaging. I no longer subject myself to these tests. Additionally, there is the chance that a tumor may become calcified as it dies instead of disappearing, and that would show up on a CT scan and cause needless alarm. Wanda > What's an HCG test?
