Guest guest
Vince you are a genius. God has given you some kind of brain and you have used it well. I say this in a very kind sense. [ ] Update and current protocol I am doing well. I've regained all pelvic functions in spite of the fact that the cancer had metastasized (I should say raged) through the bladder, prostate, seminal vesicles, rectum, anal canal, internal sphincter and evidently to lymph nodes and lungs. The pain went from non-stop excruciating to zilch and my narcotic use has dropped from over 200 mg/day of morphine to nothing. I have regained about 20 lbs of the 30 lbs that I lost and my energy level and sleep are now normal. The cancer retreat center in Del Mar is operating normally. Every day I am overjoyed that I was able to dodge the bullet of the mutilating surgery demanded by the HMO. I'm sure they'll be recommending this surgery for me 30 years from now -- if they are still alive. I am doing a few remarkable meds that I make myself, plus several I've mentioned in the past: dithiodinicotinic acid, CaPterin, benzaldehyde in cyclodextrin, and a form of macrophage activating factor. I purchase supplements such as vit E succinate, selenium, curcumin, calcitriol, melatonin (3mg at night), astragalus, EGCG, modified capsaicins (actually I do that), sulforaphane, and cimetidine. I do try to combine many of these in bulk form in a carrier drink to avoid dealing with so many tablets and capsules. I have tried and discontinued cannabis (it slowed my thinking), ketoralac (caused hemorrhaging), miltefosine (it is too expensive and I can make it should it seem especially important), DMSO (the odor), At the retreat center I do a sauna several days per week with a variety of sensitizers, which may include topical benzoic acid (15% in vaseline), carbogen, ascorbate with menadione, dipyridamole, quercetin, Lonidamine, and germanium sesquioxide plus I occasionally experiment with strategies to drop ORP (oxidation-reduction potential). I ferment several foods including shredded cabbage and also wheat germ. I am making D-glucarate and several related compounds. My Diet: Raw organic carrots, walnuts, or pistachios to satisfy the need to chew Raw sauerkraut (self-made using minimal sea salt) Extra firm organic tofu, diced and marinated in minced garlic, green onions, Japanese low-sodium soy sauce + Chinese dark soy sauce, a few splashes of sesame oil, vinegar Buckwheat groats cooked in organic vegetable stock; then sliced almonds, currants, and flax oil are added. There are many other possible inclusions: pinions, dried cranberries, mushrooms, garlic, shallots Asparagus quickly sautéed in olive oil Avocado Vegetables (broccoli, brussel sprouts, occasional corn, etc.), beans (lentils, mung, etc.), which, along with organic vegetable stock onions, tomatoes, and quinoa, can be converted into a quick soup. The same with burdock root, daikon radish, and carrots. V-8 Low-sodium vegetable juice (I use this to wash down supplements) Live-culture goat yogurt/kefir with organic fruit. I would prefer it unpasteurized but it has to be pasteurized to make a pure culture – I use Khachatrian’s or Shirota Mixed organic juices (pomegranate, blueberry, cherry, cranberry) occasionally with carbonated water Organic beet and carrot juice Occasional sardines/salmon on a spinach or sprout salad with capers, olives, parmesan, etc. Salad dressing made from organic egg yolk, flax/walnut oil and lemon juice I still have an occasional serving of grits with a little butter, half and half, and molasses and I still kick off the day with a little French roast coffee. So far these haven't slowed my super fast recovery. I don’t go by a strict schedule but pick out those things for which I am hungry. I often fast as it is dovetails with the many approaches to detoxing. Sometimes the exclusion of vitamins is as important as their inclusion. Sometimes enzyme inhibitors are just as important as enzyme use. This above list of foods is by no means complete. It is just the list of things I made today plus a few things that I commonly do. I am very open to suggestions of things to add to the list. I am especially interested in anything that can substitute for -- or quash the desire for -- the milled grains (breads and pasta) and the wonderful world of cheeses. Guest guest
, I'm so happy you are in this group and can share your treatments with us. It's wonderful to hear you are doing well. > I am very open to suggestions of things to add to the > list. You can get quinoa pastas which are mixed with corn flour. They are okay, but rather mushy. But, in a pinch, you may want to try one to satisfy a craving. I finally gave up trying to ignore bread and started making my own from scratch. I have an excellent recipe which I can share with you if you want. Bread and a few other things keeps me from being 100% raw. I also have not been able to find a replacement for cheese because I do try to stay away from soy products. Perhaps shift over to goat cheeses or raw cheeses? All my best, ar

Guest guest
, it is si good to hear how well you are doing. I do not post often but have been following this group since my lung cancer diagnosis in Sept 09. I am so surprised to see you use soy in your diet. From all that I have read soy is so highly processed and one of the most gmo crops in the world. I stay away from all but fermented soy. Continued sucess, Vicki
