Guest guest
Vince, The mind is a powerful tool. The thought of the cancer winning never entered my mind. I knew I was going to win. My biggest concern was quality of life after treatment. After years of searching for the right combination of supplements, I finally have my life back, with renewed energy, anti aging and immune building power. I would be happy to share this information with the group. This discovery has reversed my aging process. Dan
Guest guest
Hi , Excellent news, indeed. Wishing you all the best as you continue to regain your health.   From: VGammill <vgammill@...> Subject: [ ] Personal update: metastatic colorectal cancer Cancercured Date: Friday, September 3, 2010, 12:19 PM  List: I had an MRI ten weeks ago. Both my oncologist and my radiologist seemed genuinely concerned. They had no explanation for the shrinkage, but they were both very sure I would be a goner in a couple of months if I didn't do the pelvic exenteration where the surgeon would have a field day. I told them no as the earlier scan showed metastasis to my lungs and surgery would not be curative. The physicians wanted me to compromise and at least do a biopsy. Again I told them no. Without permission in October '09 they did a biopsy and within two months it had expanded from 2 cm to 8 cm, taken over all my pelvic organs and gone to my lungs. It was even written in my file and signed by me that I did not want to be biopsied. Now here is where I, the ultimate rationalist, become irrational. I have inserted my right index finger into a thousand butts but I can't make myself examine myself. I told the oncologist that I suspected it was growing. He immediately agreed to another MRI which I did yesterday. He put a rush on it in case I needed emergency surgery. I got the results last night. The tumor has shrunk down to 5 cm (2 inches) long and 1.5 cm (a smidge over 1/2 inch) at its thickest. This calculates out to about a 40% reduction in tumor mass over the last ten weeks. My diet has been quite lenient. I have been trying to reclaim lost weight and this has been successful. I'm up to 165 lbs. I have tried a number of experimental things on myself -- shamelessly violating many patents. I'm not out of the woods; I well know the pitfalls. I think the main one is prematurely stopping therapy. This is exactly what happened to my friend, the actor Hines. He was in superb health, he stopped his therapies for a week while his conventional doc ran tests to find out why he was doing so well, meanwhile the cancer mushroomed in his lungs and killed him. I look for patterns as to who does well among late-stage cancers. One of the strongest patterns would be those who take their cancers very seriously but just don't worry. I am lucky in that I easily fit in this category. When I tell this to the worrywarts they add this to the list of things to worry about. There is another area that should always be addressed. This is the relationship of an adult version of " failure to thrive " and cachexia (wasting). Look around you -- those who do the best have a very robust lust for life. Last week the Center had a participant -- a very nice man with advanced stomach cancer -- who wanted to donate some of his fine art collection to the Center. I laughed and told him no. That is the kind of crap that people do when they are preparing to die. I told him I would be much happier if he was trying to finagle me out of MY art collection. In the past I would tell participants that if they made out a will, then tear it up as they aren't going to need it. It is a great way to start the program. But I stopped this as I thought, what if they did die -- this is not very practical advice. Till next time,
Guest guest
Dan, Please post details of everything you are doing but in the context of your full cancer story. I think everyone on the list would like to turn back the clock. At 12:13 PM 9/3/2010, you wrote: > >Vince, > The mind is a powerful tool. The thought of the cancer winning > never entered my mind. Guest guest
Vince, I am not going to rewrite my book on line for the group, part of me would love to just to stick it to Big Pharma. I will attempt to give a lot more detail than I have in the past. May of 2005 I was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer, PSA 23.5 stage T3c, all12 cores of the biopsy cancerous, up to 75 %. The cancer escaped the capsule to the nerves on the left side and who knows where else. The treatment I chose was external Beam radiation coupled with short form hormone treatment. However I bailed on the second lupron injection due to unusual side effects. After the hormone injection expired my PSA In January 2006 was 0.59, the next 3 psa tests all increased finally in July 2006 my psa was 2.39. I refused any more formal treatment and went alternative with diet and supplements. The last 9 out of 10 psa tests have reduced with my approach. My last test in March 2010 was 0.41, I am due this month for another. I am one of the few whose approach does not include any testosterine lowering drugs, or estrogen. Here's my approach sense tea as a detoxification process lycoPom 2 capsules a day selenium 200mci Vitamin E 400 Ginger root 250 mg Saw palmento Berries 500mg tart cherri juice 16 ounces a day Vitamin C with rose Hips 1000mg Folic Acid 400 mci Vitamin D 5000 IU Co Q10 200 mg B 6 100mg Vitamin E 400mg. Diet, fruits and veggies, meat and milk, all organic. Eliminate as much as possible omega 6 in corn products. Drink filtered water. Limit milk and meat, only grass fed meat and lean. Good anti-cancer foods, asparaagus, walnuts, turmeric, mustard, raw red cabbage, broccli, cauliflower. That took care of my cancer. Dan Dan, Please post details of everything you are doing but in the context of your full cancer story. I think everyone on the list would like to turn back the clock. Guest guest
V, It doesn't seem like I've heard you speak of hydrogen peroxide IV drips to add pure oxygen into your bloodstream. It knocked my candidiasis out of me when it was a full-blown problem. Seems like it would totally support the body's fight against cancer. I know mds think it's quackery, but doesn't seem like you'd jump to that without testing it. Also, DMSO plus MMS (sodium chlorite)...I've been reading about that for a while and took my tenth dose tonight (internal). I also added it onto my squamous cell carcinoma externally (after using bloodroot paste to pull up the white waste) where it was still " hot " and red albeit seemingly healing. Also, I wish you were using high amounts of iodoral (according to Brownstein, MD) at least 100mg & companion supps for his protocol and making sure your body was detoxed from metals and toxins (zeolite, chlorella, DMSA, ALA...Andy Cutler, MD) and that your arteries were clear (IV chelation). I also wish for you: 10k units of Vitamin D and some form of Krill oil & a good good form of Vitamin E (tocopherols). And and, daily fresh juice of asparagus and beet, followed by whole raw apple and whole raw carrot (to flush flourides out & to " mop up " ). And, that you were " zapping " for 7 minutes 3x/day with 8 volts as per Hulda . Just my wish list for you...I mean well if I'm off-target. These are a few protocols that speak strongly to me. I'm so glad the tumors have shrunk. Best, Deborah
