Guest guest
(Edited to remove long string of posts attached to this post. Please remember to trim your posts. Thank you.) There is an old saying here in America. It is, " You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. " I am more of a scholar of the road, than from the schools. I learn mostly from people who know more than me and have done more research than me. I guess I'm a little... well, maybe lazy, but I prefer to call it more efficient. One great lesson in life I learned was about 25 years ago when I was become certified as a SCUBA diver. We talked about various effects of being deep underwater, nitrogen narcosis and other things that can effect your mind when you are under pressure and thing happen. We talked about what do you do when your dive " buddy " starts going to deep where it is putting him in danger of loosing his life. My dive master said you do what you can to get his attention and to give a signal that it's time to surface. I asked when to you go after him and try to save him? His response was somewhat vague but the answer was in his eyes. He didn't have to say anymore. The answer was evident. You have to gauge when you are putting yourself at risk and there might be times when you are just forced to watch your " buddy " go to deep that the nitrogen in his brain takes over his senses and he can't reason and eventually dies. Jacques Cousteau called in " rapture of the deep. " It's like being very high and euphoric . I've felt it and if you like being high...this is a great feeling. And would be an easy one to overtake you. I liken that to this. You try to give people the benefit of what you have learned, where you have gotten your information, tell some true success stories you have heard from others, then let them choose their own course. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me, as well as Tony and Nicholes, and others. Maybe someday we can drink a bier together on the streets of Bad Aibling. I am copying everyone into an email I sent to a friend recently when he was booked in to have his prostate removed. He has a gleason 6, psa of abou6 and the clown was going to rip out his prostate!! I hear this story often and it is amazing how many guys still listen to the uro after reading all the reseach I place in front of them and still lie down for the cut. The power of fear is relentless. There are some great links here with all the recent research and everything points to the complete failure in the medical system to deal with PC. Guest guest
Great Bob, When I get caught up, I'm going to send out a couple more emails. One on our experience of traveling here, and it's been exciting. I just turned 59 and I wanted to do it as a couple of college kids doing the European vacation thing. We had a great flight from Charlotte, NC to Munich then 3 train rides from Munich to Bad Aibling, then got off the train with backpacks on our backs and walked to the Klinik. It was only about 6 or 8 blocks. We arrived at the Klinik at about 12:30 or 1:00 PM on a Sunday and walked around the halls until someone asked us if they could help us. It was all down hill from there. It's being a great trip. More details of the travel experience and the procedures in a day or so. Bob bobruddock@... writes: It just so happens i have just confirmed my appointment for the end of the month with the same clinic and will be happy to share my experience's with you all. My thoughts and positive vibes go out to you bob and every one else working the alternative protocol. [i look forward to your feedback Bob and can`t wait to compare notes.] Kind Regards Bob R [uk]
