Guest guest
My dad went for a physical last month and doctor found jaundice in his eyes and skin. Futher CT found that there is a lump on his pancreas. Based on the CT, the doctor diagnosed him with pancreatic cancer. But the doctor said from the CT, there seems no spreading to other organs yet. My dad is 77 years old and his general health is not very good. I want to get some advice what would be the best treatment for him. Is surgery still an option? As I said, his general health is not very good, heart, lung, high blood pressure... But what I read seems to indicate a very low survival rate without surgery... What other alternative treatment are out there? Also, it seems pancreatic cancer always associates some kind spreading, how come there is no spreading in my dad's case? Could this be a mis-diagnose? Thank you all so much in advance!
