Guest guest
Hello Melinda, I am also stage 0 breast cancer. DCIS can be a bit complicated. What are your stats? Hormone positive? Grade? What is your age? Did you forgo all traditional treatment? Here's my situation, I became a vegetarian raw foodist 7 years prior to my cancer diagnosis. I made all those lifestyle changes you are probably talking about and STILL developed cancer. Do your thermograms pick up DCIS? The lab that does mine said they couldn't guarantee that thermography would pick it up. If you are hormone positive, and under age 50, I can tell you that diet and lifestyle might not do a whole lot to deal with hormone issues. So, I would not rely on them alone. ar > > Has anyone here only used lifestyle and diet change for cancer? that is where I am at now; I have just changed my exercise and food choices. I am monitoring it with thermograms (breast cancer, stage 0). > > Would love to hear from anyone who is in the same situation! >
Guest guest
Melinda, What klinik in Germany are you considering? I just came back from St. Georg in Bad Abling for prostate cancer. Bob
Guest guest
ar, hi, I am hormone positive, 53, grade 3. I have not done any traditional treatment, but am considering a clinic in Germany for January... my thermograms did pick up the dcis; I have had 2 of them 3 months apart, and am waiting on the last one's results. did you have the lumpectomy? any other treatments, and how were they? Thanks for your help, Melinda > > > > Has anyone here only used lifestyle and diet change for cancer? that is where I am at now; I have just changed my exercise and food choices. Guest guest
Hi Melinda, Grade 3 has the ability to become invasive, so you really want to deal with the hormone issues. I'm using calcium D-Glucarate to help remove estrogen and I can see a slight difference in my thermograms, so I think it's working. Flax seeds as well. I did standard treatment - lumpectomy plus radiation. I was 42 at the time of diagnosis, and I'm happy with my decision to mix traditional with alternative. I really didn't have anywhere else to go with diet changes, so felt I didn't have enough bang for my buck to stick with only alternatives. The lumpectomy was easy, and I used modified citrus pectin to cut down on wandering cancer cells during surgery. Radiation was a pain, but all in all, it wasn't too bad. My skin did well and the rad tech said it was because of my good diet. Now I'm doing vitamin D3, melatonin, calcium d-glucarate to deal with estrogen. I have adrenal fatigue which is contributing to the estrogen dominance, but there isn't much I can do about that, unfortunately. Just trying to get by with what I can. Also, check out http://www.breastcancerchoices.org and order an iodine loading test. I was low on iodine and supplemented with iodoral. As soon as I can, I'll order another test to see if I still need to supplement. Iodine is essential to breast health. What kind of treatment do you hope to receive at the clinic in Germany? ar > > ar, > > hi, I am hormone positive, 53, grade 3. Guest guest
Bob, Actually St. Georg is one of the two clinics that I am researching! PLEASE tell me about your experience; how was the heat therapy, especially? That is what I am most interested in, and how did they measure your progress? Are you doing okay now? How are they going to follow up with you? Thanks for the information, too! Melinda > > Melinda, > What klinik in Germany are you considering?
